At 85 I still diagram sentences—good to know there are some of us around. I still thank our high school sophomore teacher who drilled it into our heads.
Apparently English grammar hasn’t been taught in schools for decades. One of the worst offenses is not knowing the difference between “fewer” and “less”. Makes me crazy.
All these loonies are giving Donald Trump free rent in their heads.!
I was a liberal under Reagan-GHW Bush-clinton & a conservative since 2000. Liberals were nuts under every POTUS, but extremely paranoid under GOP POTUS. Fears of concentration camps, nuclear war etc. Seems it gets worse every GOP POTUS. Now, it has become mainstream among the left, the leadership now encourages it.
In darkened rooms all over America are thousands of liberals with two steel ball bearings in their left hand, their rubbing them together, over and over while repeating, over and over, “They’re all against me, Trump is against me, they’re all against me!’’.
I go to the rifle/handgun range for therapy! Then a drink when back home at the ranch.

I’ve seen since then that there’s a TREMENDOUS opportunity for pastors and other Christians to put a sure foundation of Jesus Christ in these unstable souls. I’d be amazed if 1 pastor in a 1,000 sees this opportunity. Ultimately there will another Awakening in America for only “God’s solid foundation stands firm” (2Tim 2:19 NIV)
LOL, but there was NO rise in anxiety when the Kenyan Communist Cabal was running the country? Of course not. A return to normalcy and Constitutional limited government is what triggers anxiety. Sure.
BINGO! The "whole word" approach to reading has been a disaster of horrendous proportions. Anybody who was taught "whole word" reading absolutely hates reading and cannot write the simplest sentences with correct grammar, spelling or punctuation. Complex subordinate clauses? Ha! No way that will happen correctly. (pardon the sentence fragment there - I am firing for effect).
Of course there would be a great hue and cry from the media about free speech rights protecting them from lawsuits, but there are indeed limitations to constitutional rights. The classic example is that you can’t yell “Fire!” in a crowded theater.
