Here is former U.S. Attorney Andrew McCarthy today analyzing the redacted FISA documents released by the Justice Department last night. He is very strong in saying he is “shocked” to find that, indeed, the FBI used the unverified and discredited Steele Dossier to justify their need for a FISA Warrant to spy on Carter Page.
McCarthy said he really didn’t think they would do that – that he didn’t think something like this could happen here. But it has. . . .

The judges need to be looked at as well since they’ve stood on the sidelines meekly accepting the fact that they look like fools. Maybe they are so silent because they were corrupt themselves.....why else would the be silent
I would love to watch a one hour special interview of Andrew on a truthful media station. First 15 minutes should establish his credentials and then let him explain how the DOJ and FBI have been weaponized as a corrupt tool.
Yeah, he actually said he doesn’t know why they go after those judges. You can tell he’s truly shocked that they took that Dossier and it’s unverified claims and “slapped District Court” on it and turned it in.

The ONE question that wasn’t asked and, consequently, not answered was this: absent the dossier, is there a first FISA warrant?

Agreed. The FISA judge is not blameless in this from the start and shouldn’t escape scrutiny. He’s very much like the voters who put Batthouse Barry in for two terms. Yeah, Obama is everything we say he is, but he couldn’t make himself President, enough idiots had to do that for him. Those FBI scum are that and more for going to the FISA court with the BS dossier, but the judge is there to decide not to rubber stamp. This judge rubber stamped making him scum along with the FBI scum.

It was only astonishing to those who extended the benefit of the doubt to parties which had proven they didn’t deserve it... this is exactly what I said was the most probable case when the Steele dossier first came to light, that it was used as the basis of the FISA warrants.
To anyone familiar with the extent of corruption in DC, there weren’t very many other plausible scenarios.

This will be known to many here, who have been reading and listening to them all along. But I find it amazing, in conversations with liberals, that very few have the slightest idea what McCarthy and DiGenova are talking about, or indeed, who they are. I am unaware of a single liberal commentator who is competent to even enter the discussion. The corruption of the FBI is paralleled perfectly by the corruption of the party line Democrat media, which simply lies.
If we were billionaires we might have hire sluts to 'act out' porn scenes... I suspect the Intelligence Bureaucracy thought they could bring down Trump with the 'stories and rumors they had heard about him.
It's an abuse of power - like if the "Health and Human Services' Bureaucracy decided to take down people they didn't like by implying they would use welfare information to embarrass them if they ran for office.
When I look at the number of Republicans 'retiring' I'll bet this isn't the first time the thugs in the Intelligence Bureaucracy used this technique.
