Mag-Fed, Pump-Action 12-Gauge
The new non-NFA pump-action 12 gauge includes a 15-inch barrel and 10-shell detachable box magazine as standard options.
Announced recently, Mossberg has added a detachable double-stack magazine to its 590M Shockwave.
Showcasing its raptor-style pistol grip on a pump-action is not only do-able but fun to shoot.
Combine this with the new series of detachable double-stack magazine of 10, 15 or 20-round capacity mags.
Which has an ambidextrous magazine release button for easy unload and reloading.
You now have plenty of slugs for shooting paper targets or for home defense.
The 590M features a safety strap on the corn cob fore-end along with sling swivel studs.
Designed for use with 2.75-inch shells only, the mags are polymer with a self-lubricating body, hardened steel feed lips, and integral stabilizing ribs. See the video review of Mossberg 590M Shockwave here.
Just in time for the zombie apocalypse.
Ooooh!!! How much?
Prefer a stock, but that is sweet!
OK. Mossberg 590M
Did they change recently the legal shogun barrel length down to 15 inches? Tom
No. It's...complicated.

No, Capt, it’s a (two) handgun....
If it had a shoulder stock and was designed to be fired from the shoulder- then it would have to b at least 26 OAL with an 18 inch bbl. Since it has a PG it can have a bbl of 15, an OAL under 26” etc and be a pistol.... Rifles need to be the same 26 + inch OAL, but can have a 16 inch bbl. If less than 16inchs, and no shoulder stock, it too is a pistol.
Also, one can add an “arm brace” to said firearms, shoot it from the shoulder occasional/incidentally and still not be a SBR/NFA weapon, nor a rifle o nor a shotgun.....
Makes sense, huh?
Thanks for the info. -Tom
There are too many new guns on the market—its becoming glutted. I have a 20 gauge Shock Wave, but putting a big clunky detachable magazine on it would defeat the whole purpose of the thing.
I have a 590A. That thing is built like a brick sh!t house.
I cannot imagine having to need 20 shotgun shells. I guess you could start loading it with non lethal loads. Then bird shot. And if they really dont get the message buck shot and then slugs.
That would make for an interesting escalation.
Wonder how hard it would be to retrofit to earlier shotguns.
