The new non-NFA pump-action 12 gauge includes a 15-inch barrel

Did they change recently the legal shogun barrel length down to 15 inches? Tom

No. It's...complicated.

No, Capt, it’s a (two) handgun....

If it had a shoulder stock and was designed to be fired from the shoulder- then it would have to b at least 26 OAL with an 18 inch bbl. Since it has a PG it can have a bbl of 15, an OAL under 26” etc and be a pistol.... Rifles need to be the same 26 + inch OAL, but can have a 16 inch bbl. If less than 16inchs, and no shoulder stock, it too is a pistol.

Also, one can add an “arm brace” to said firearms, shoot it from the shoulder occasional/incidentally and still not be a SBR/NFA weapon, nor a rifle o nor a shotgun.....

Makes sense, huh?
