The FBI’s Deep State Cabal Continues to Unravel, One Slimey Thread at a Time

Today’s Campaign Update (Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Yeah, that? That’s a terrible idea. But let’s go ahead and do it anyway. – Not one, but two of the dumbest decisions in American history were announced yesterday by completely unrelated businesses, and amazingly, neither of those businesses was named Starbucks.

First, the dimwits who run the Miss America Pageant, which literally began in the 1920s as nothing but a swimsuit competition designed to keep tourists in Atlantic City for a week past Labor Day, announced they would be cancelling the pageant’s… wait for it…swimsuit competition!

Thus ensuring that, in about 5 years, we won’t have the Miss America Pageant to kick around anymore. Adios!

Second, the people at IHOP – aka, the International House of Pancakes – one of the most iconic breakfast houses in American history, have come up with the genius idea of changing the acronym to “IHOB.” The catch is that they aren’t telling anybody what the “B” stands for until next Monday, but hey, just guessing here, it might just stand for “Breakfast” since that’s what the chain specializes in.

Thus ensuring that we won’t have IHOP to kick around anymore after Monday, and probably won’t have IHOB to kick around anymore in about 5 years from now.

Who makes decisions like this? Seriously.

Ok, Bill, tell us something we don’t already know. – The FBI’s Chief of Counterintelligence, Bill Priestap, spent 8 hours testifying behind closed doors to a joint meeting of the House Judiciary and House Oversight Committees about his role and the role of others in the FBI’s sham investigation of the Pantsuit Princess’s email scandal.

While others involved the fake investigation have either lost their jobs (James Comey, Andrew McCabe, James Baker, Lisa Page) or been demoted and reassigned since last November (Peter Strzok, Bruce Ohr), Priestap has conspicuously remained in his job, where he served as Super Duper Agent Peter Strzok’s direct boss. This has lead to much speculation that he has long been a cooperating witness for ongoing DOJ investigations being conducted by Inspector General Michael Horowitz and U.S. Attorney John Huber.

The most interesting part about Priestap’s 8 hours on the stand, as far as the public knows, is that none of his testimony has yet been leaked to the New York Times or the Washington Post. We can be absolutely certain sure that if anything Priestap said was positive for the Democrats or the Fainting Felon it would have already appeared in stories by both of those newspapers.

The only leak as of this writing comes from Catherine Herridge at Fox News, who reported late yesterday that a “source” said Priestap testified that Strzok’s role in the FBI’s shenanigans was even more extensive than we already know, which, given that we already know that he was involved in literally every. damn. thing. hardly seems possible. But there you are.

Priestap’s long-awaited testimony appears to be one step in setting the stage for the release of Horowitz’s also long-awaited report on the fake email investigation and other Coughing Crook-related matters that the FBI chose to cover up during the Obama years. Interestingly, a second such step took place yesterday afternoon…

Life sure does come at you fast, huh Andy? – Hey, remember when ex-Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe assured everyone that he hadn’t ever done anything wrong late last year? And remember when he threatened to sue President Trump for slander? And remember when he threatened to take everybody down with him if he was fired before his pension was fully vested? And remember when he got fired and wrote that scathing op/ed for the Washington Post claiming he had done nothing wrong and it was all such a huge injustice? And remember how he did that Gofundme campaign and got a bunch of idiotic suckers to give him half a million dollars for his legal defense fund? And remember how several Democrat members of congress offered to give him jobs so he could be employed long enough to fully earn his pension?

Yeah…good times…good times.

Late yesterday, this very same Andrew McCabe had his high-paid lawyer send a letter to Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley begging for immunity from criminal prosecution in exchange for testimony before the Committee. Funny how all that bravado and unbridled hubris starts to disappear as the wheels of justice roll inexorably in these folks’ direction.

Just a note about that IG report… – If you’re feeling frustrated at the constant delays in getting this report released, trust me, you have plenty of company. Including me.

But here’s the way to look at this: The people who are the subjects of the IG investigation and still working within the FBI and DOJ have now had this report in-hand for almost three weeks. Sean Hannity was reporting that yesterday as if it is something unusual, but it is in fact standard operating procedure: Any current employee accused of wrongdoing by the IG is given an opportunity to respond and offer exculpatory evidence before these reports are made public.

But in those three weeks, not a word of this report has been leaked to the fake news media. Given the number of bad actors within the DOJ and FBI who are subjects of this investigation, you can be sure that if anything in this report was positive for their case, it would have already appeared in the aforementioned house organs for the Deep State.

This report is not going to be everything you want it to be – reports of investigations like this never are. But it’s obviously not everything the Deep State wants it to be either, because if it was we’d already know about it.

Remember the old proverb: “The wheels of justice turn slowly, but they grind exceedingly fine.”

Just another day in the unraveling deep state America.

That is all.

IHOP must have paid some marketing genius a whole lot of money to come up with such an incredibly stupid idea.

BOOM? BOMBSHELL? TICK TOCK? aren't doing it for you?

Lots of alleged smoke, but no fire.

I'm waiting for ONE big name to be indicted, arrested, charged in open court, tried, prosecuted, convicted, and sent to prison.

All I get it is, 'It's about to happen!'

Get back to me when something, anything, happens.

Cynicism seems appropriate.

and btw, get ready for the IG report, it's going to be 'devastating' (so I heard).

So they'll be looking for a Valedictorian and future CEO instead of a Miss America. Pretty dumb.

I believe early Miss Americas were simply a representation of a lovely, wholesome "class" of people.

International house of breakfast?

That seems most likely. Alternatively, I guess it could be International House of...

- Bacon
- Bubbas
- Big people

But breakfast seems to make the most sense.

Any current employee accused of wrongdoing by the IG is given an opportunity to respond and offer exculpatory evidence before these reports are made public.

As a matter of practice, the IG does give the subject parties the opportunity to reply to its findings. That is standard procedure in my experience.

It is standard practice within all federal departments. It’s a law.

Only if he provides evidence that can be used in a prosecution of higher ups and others.

I was once involved in the management of a relatively small internal program at an agency that the IG decided to audit. The resulting report showed an amazing lack of knowledge of the complexity of the program and its purpose. We met with the authors of the report and had to school them on numerous aspects of the program. I almost felt sorry for them because of their general lack of knowledge and technical competence. The IG subsequently made significant revisions to its report and, in the end, it was all a big nothing burger.

Given the small size of the program, which was of a temporary nature, I always suspected that a resentful “tipster” had it in for a person higher up in my chain of command and called the IG. Either that or the IG was looking for something to justify its existence.

Despite that unfortunate experience, IG’s often do produce useful and constructive reports.

Well, if you’re gunna change the IHOP thing. IHOB is not a bad choice. Ya’ really don’t have to change the sign. Just send somebody up with a bucket of paint.

Last time I was at IHOP(B) my pancakes tasted like sardines. Don’t know why. Haven’t been back in 25 years.

His “testimony” will be about one thing: blaming everyone else around him.

People like him don’t testify. They just want to deflect and divert attention away from themselves.
