Today’s Campaign Update (Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Tired of all this #Winning yet? Part I – The President, First Lady, Vice President and Secretary of State all turned out to Andrews Air Force Base at 2:00 a.m. to welcome home Kim Dong Chul, Kim Hak Song and Tony Kim, three Americans who had been held as prisoners for years by the North Korean government. Their release was a show of good faith by the Crazy Little Fat Guy, Kim Jong Un, in advance of next month’s face-to-face negotiation with President Trump related to the de-nuclearization of the Korean peninsula.

The sight of one of the men hugging Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, who had flown halfway across the world to secure their release earlier in the week, was enough to bring tears to the eyes of any thinking person. Democrats and fake reporters were, of course, unmoved, given that these three men were released as the result of the efforts of President Trump, after having languished in a North Korean prison throughout much of the administration of media hero Barack Obama.

Your news media in action! Part I – The deranged lunatics at the New York Times, meanwhile, published a piece Wednesday morning lambasting Secretary Pompeo for being “AWOL” as President Trump announced he was ending U.S. participation in the horrible Iran deal. Later in the day, after some no-doubt “anonymous source” (because that’s the only kind of sources the New York Times has anymore) informed the morons at the Times that Pompeo was actually rescuing a bunch of political prisoners, the fake newspaper published a piece that was actually positive about the prisoner release. What a dumpster fire.

Your news media in action! Part II – Speaking of huge, raging dumpster fires, I give you NBC News. Former Trump attorney Michael Cohen has been the subject of so much fake reporting by the Peacock Network that he felt the need to get on his Twitter account to try to shame the fake news operation into correcting some of his horrible reporting:

Michael Cohen ✔ @MichaelCohen212 Along with @NBCNews inaccurate reporting of me being wiretapped, now comes @CNBC @KevinWilliamB report that I was fined 1 million dollars in #Chicago, barred from operating medallions in #NYC and offshored $60 million. Wrong person! https://www.cnbc.com/2018/05/06/how-michael-cohen-became-trumps-personal-lawyer.html …

8:03 AM - May 7, 2018 · Manhattan, NY

Michael Cohen's business steeped in opaque deals, questionable times: New York Times Cohen made his bones amassing a trove of pricey and scarce taxi cab medallions.

cnbc.com 4,639 3,615 people are talking about this Twitter Ads info and privacy That’s right: NBC News is so fake and lacking in any editorial standards whatsoever that it can’t even identify the correct guy named Michael Cohen before filing its reports. I mean, dayum, people.

Your Democrats in action! – But the most disgusting spectacle of the day was, without question, watching as some of the very worst people on the face of the earth, like Kamala Harris, Mark Warner and Dianne Feinstein, questioned the nominee for CIA Director, Gina Haspel, about her “moral compass.” My goodness.

Tired of all this #Winning yet? Part II. That Blue Wave is circling down the toilet. – Speaking of Democrats, that much-ballyhooed “Blue Wave” that all the Democrat operatives in the fake news media were telling you was an absolute certainty a few months ago has pretty much fallen off of even CNN’s fake news story rotation. Maybe that’s because even CNN’s own congressional generic preference poll, which just four months ago claimed the Democrats led Republicans by a whopping 16 points, yesterday came in at just a 3 point Democrat lead, which happens to be within the fake poll’s margin of error.

The CNN result is pretty consistent with the other generic congressional polls, all of which have narrowed up substantially since the first of the year. Which should come as no surprise to anyone.

I told you back in December that the whole “Blue Wave” thing was just wishful thinking on the part of the Democrats and their media support group. I predicted then that as the tax cuts kicked into working peoples’ paychecks, the good economic growth news continued coming in, and other good things continued to happen, those numbers would narrow substantially. I even predicted that the situation with North Korea, which at that time appeared to be a major crisis verging on a military conflict, would in fact be ultimately resolved on largely U.S. terms without a shot being fired.

Guess what’s about to happen? The situation with North Korea is about to be resolved without a shot being fired. Guess what will happen to those generic ballot polls when that happy result comes about? The small Democrat lead will disappear entirely, and by August you’re going to be seeing polls showing that measure has moved into the GOP’s favor. Hell, at this rate, you might start seeing such polls in June.

But that’s not all that’s about to happen in the coming weeks and months. The Mueller investigation is about to come to a head, and will be ultimately resolved with no legitimate charges filed against the President. Mueller may end up writing a report in which he tries to provide the Democrats some basis for an impeachment effort – which has been the goal of this “investigation” since day 1 – but that won’t matter because the Democrats aren’t going to win back control of the House in November.

“But wait, there’s more!”, to quote the late, great Billy Mays. We’re also about to see the issuance of the final report from DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz, and the subsequent issuance of grand jury subpoenas and indictments targeting – guess who? – not the Trump Administration, but a bunch of Clinton and Obama loyalists.

Bottom line, the 2018 mid-terms will definitely be a “sea-change” election, but not the “blue wave” kind the fake news media was loudly touting a few months ago. No, the “sea-change” in this campaign will be the massive shift that takes place in the generic congressional ballot polling between last December and this coming November.

And the beauty of all of this is that the Democrat Party leaders are so stupid and out of touch that they decided last year to discard anything resembling a policy agenda and hang their Party’s entire future on promoting hatred for Donald Trump.

Isn’t life great?

Just another day in that Blue Wave ain’t gonna happen America.

That is all.

Yes. I think the entire Democrat approach has been to make darn sure that Donald Trump does not get re-elected this Fall. And although it's pretty obvious that he will not be re-elected in 2018, I suspect that the Democrats have really aimed at the wrong target.

All politics is local. Good stuff is happening all around. Local Democrat races have no plan for local politics. They just hate the guy who isn't running. Very poor strategy.
