Let your every morning prayer be the one that says: “Thank You Father, for Your Creation”
It was only the tiniest of sparrows, but there it lay on the deck, stunned after flying into the thick glass of the window. After a few moments, it somehow struggled to its tiny feet, wobbly, then remaining stock still for 15 minutes that seemed like an eternity.
It stood there as though cast in concrete, not moving a thing.
Everything in this household, including pet dog, Yankee was held in suspense. We didn’t want small-dog-big-bark balustrade Yankee to frighten the little bird out of its heartbeat.
