14 Democrats voted to confirm.

‘Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., [aka Prima Donna] was the lone member of his party to vote against his confirmation.’

“Among the 10 Democrats running in states President Donald Trump won in 2016, five voted to confirm Pompeo and five voted against the nomination.

The five “yes” votes came from Heidi Heitkamp of North Dakota, Joe Donnelly of Indiana, Joe Manchin III of West Virginia, Bill Nelson of Florida and Claire McCaskill of Missouri.”

Just IMAGINE the kind of traitorous rat bastard (or likely bitch) President Hillary Clinton would have stuck in this job. This is why I continue to thank God for President Donald J. Trump.

I give Rand Paul a pass on this one. Keep in mind he voted to let it out of committee so the full US Senate could make the decision.

“The five “yes” votes came from Heidi Heitkamp of North Dakota, Joe Donnelly of Indiana, Joe Manchin III of West Virginia, Bill Nelson of Florida and Claire McCaskill of Missouri.” Testor knows he is done for so he is sucking up for a spot somewhere next January working for some anti-American cause. That Nelson voted yes is very significant. Yesterday he (like Scott ) probably thought the 11th Federal Circuit Court would force the State of Florida to let felons vote - it didn’t. This must have stunned Scott since he had called an emergency meeting of his side to figure out how to counter the decision; but it went the right way. A probably equally stunned Nelson who is behind Scott in at least one poll, knew he had to vote no to stir up the liberal crazies in South Florida.

he voted to let it out of committee so the full US Senate could make the decision.

So he gets to pander to some fraction of his base, without actually torpedoing the nomination. I find that kind of political gamesmanship annoying.

What's with this jackass? I thought he was going to vote for Pompeo?
