Bigger story is that we now have lost 40 elections in 14 months. Two elections (at least) should have been easy to win....Alabama and PA 18. I don’t care if Lamb ran as a moderate Democrat. When you win an election by 20 percent, there is not excuse at all for the loss. Anyone who still thinks we will keep the House in November is completely delusional.

I think the GOP getting wiped out in November is a good thing because it will cleanse the party, and we will get more Trump-aligned candidates for 2020.

This is all part of draining the Swamp, you have to drain the GOP, first.

We've lost only one US congressional seat so far(this one), and one US Senate seat. The rest are state houses of assembly seats.
There are some 5,411 state representatives. Losing 40 of those over 5,000 seats is hardly earth shattering. Obama managed to lose to the time e of over 1000 of those seats in 8 years, working out at over 110 seats lost per year.

The GOP and Trump are in for a long second half of the term. If Trump makes it to 2020, which is not a sure thing.

Agree. No excuse for these losses. Huge losses coming November in the house if RNC leadership is not changed.
