That was such a weird movie!
Same outfit that gave Zero his “Peace Prize”?
I have confidence that if something strange is discovered on Mars, NASA or any of the numerous space fanatics, neurotics & nerds will want to be the first to make the announcement. Lots of people looking.
So far, my response to all this is that it is very curious. Again, my perspective doesn’t come from an odd thing in a picture. Rather, it comes from LOTS of odd things in LOTS of pictures. And again, some of them really are just kooks seeing what they want to see. I filter a lot of it out as just silly, but it still leaves us with a lot of odd stuff.
...but this is not allowable under the current narrative. Not if one wants to remain in good stead with the academic community anyway.
You make the claim, you provide the evidence. Know what I mean?
And you will come across some really kooky videos when you do it. You need to use your common sense regarding these things.
More CGI from Mars?
You keep making all these claims, about pictures, then tell me to go look for them.
I’ve seen some, they all look like BS to me. I’m certain this is why we’re asking for you to provide an example. We’re hoping for something interesting. As far as astronauts, haven’t heard anything too earth shattering from them either. No pun intended.
One story that is interesting. More than one Apollo mission reported hearing - get this - very weird music while on the far side of the Moon during orbit. This is a period of time where they are not in radio contact with
earth. Spacecraft conversations were recorded on tape, and the transcripts are available. They decided they shouldn’t talk about it too much, or people will wonder. The “official” answer is that they were experiencing heterodyne squeels or somesuch between the lunar module and command module radios, but it seems to me that these guys were experienced test pilots for many many years with thousands of hours and would be familiar with radio artifacts and stuff like that, and would not call it “music”. Weird, huh?

Feel free to ignore my posts on the subject. That’s what I do regarding all my brother’s emails about 9/11 being an inside job. :)

The odd rock formations, in my opinion, are usually “odd” because, well, they are not on earth. There is a different gravitational pull there and different atmosphere. This can result in weird formations that would never occur on earth.
I’ve done my own research. Part of my own research is having you do it. ;)
Seriously though, I don’t care who or what the deal is, the person making the claim, the burden of proof is on them.
You: Wow, those NASA mars pics have alien technology in them! Amazing!
Us: Really? Where??
You: Look it up yourself, I’m busy right now.
See what I mean? If there’s something interesting let us know, post a pic here. Then everybody can see what you’re talking about and decide if you’re off yer meds or whatever.
See my post above this one.
I avoided the “obvious stuff” like the “crab in the doorway. :)
The on in my post before this one was so weird that I went to NASA to get the actual picture and see for myself. Yep. It’s in there.
Sometimes it’s also apparently intentional smearing, like in this example:

Well.. OK.
What is that though? A picture from 89,000 feet above the Martian landscape, or something a few millimeters across, or?? Further, how do I know that’s actualy an image from Mars, and not just some wackjob stuff from golly knows where?
Two things. I don’t remember the size, but as I said earlier, when I first saw it it was so weird that I went to the NASA site (where I saw the original image, they gave the actual image number) and YES it was there, just as it appears in that picture. But it was a very small part of a VERY LARGE, high resolution photo.
And to give you an idea of how you have to be careful with these things. The part that looks like something shining off a glass half dome could also be the top of a sandy slope. The brain vigorously attempts to apply a context to images it doesn’t understand.
So I take all of these with a grain of salt. A good example would be the pictures that look like part of a stone head from a statue that has been toppled. But there are so many of them. And the other “too perfect” shapes in some rocks. Or the “pyramids” in the exact same pattern as the ones in Egypt.
But again, they could all be tricks of light, etc.
So I watch all this stuff, looking for a really, REALLY clear smoking gun. So far that has not materialized.
I spent several minutes looking through “interesting stuff found on Mars” images. They all look pretty unremarkable to me, especially in context. One pic looked like it “could” be square or gridlike layout of very ancient streets or city blocks. Except, it looks a lot more like a geological formation called Grabens. Linear fault lines that run for many miles, sometimes in a criss-cross or gridlike pattern.
I’d sort of expect there to be absolutely clear and unambiguous “stuff” all over the place, and plenty of it. Not just a stray bottle cap lookin’ thing that we have to squint and look at sideways to sort of imagine. The images that have been returned are amazing, a lot of them wouldn’t look too out of place in Utah or Nevada maybe. Mars is a place. Hard to wrap the mind around that sometimes.
Yeah. I’ve seen those “martian city” ones too. Not impressed. Yet.
I don’t have TV and during the winter there is not a lot to do indoors where I live sometimes. I’ve spent probably a total of 20-30 hours looking at this stuff. Some is comical, some is interesting, and some is downright perplexing. We’ll see if more clear stuff avails itself as time marches on.
