I am sure Nigerians are smart and hard workers but they do benefit from the reverse racism of “affirmative action” that they supposedly created for black citizens from America. Just more proof the Democrat Party never one to help American blacks they just wonderful them in the voting for him and leaving them poor and desperate enough to keep voting for them for crumbs. The Democrat Party eventually destroys every group that they fool into supporting them. Look at how they betrayed the white middle-class; we are now seeing the horrible effects of Democrat policies in the form of rampant drug abuse and declining lifespans.
I try to be when appropriate.

I work with some Nigerians in the engineering profession and know their families. Most of you here have heard of the Asian “Tiger Moms”. It is the same in the Nigerian families here in Houston. Engineers are highly regarded in the Nigerian culture.
Yet to see a worthy thing engineered in Nigeria.
Thanks to decades of corruption, Nigeria has suffered a major brain drain.
Keep in mind that what I had described is in Houston. Here in Houston the main industry is petroleum refining and chemical, as well as oilfield and pipeline (commonly referred to as upstream and midstream, respectively). This is the industry where I work, and what I see. Although NASA is here in Houston, the oil patch is far more dominant.
Actually, it’s true. (The 1993 movie with Sean Connery and Wesley Snipes touched on this) Real Africans want nothing to do with black Americans. That’s why it’s funny to see rappers wearing African medallions and clothing.
Um . . . as an American black man married to a Nigerian woman, I beg to differ!
And REAl Wyoming ranchers hate Manhattanites. Scots and English tried to exterminate each other for centuries...and so on. I am 2/3 Irish and grew up in a south side Chicago Irish neighborhood. I Had some hest of friends Irish. But there were sub sets and cliques that I despised. I hate having to explain myself but then again maybe I should be more judicious in the words I choose.
As to those words,I apologize but was merely repeating what I have heard and read over the years and I am sure you are aware of those sentiments.
