The Senate’s Predictable Abject Failure on Immigration Shows Democrats Aren’t Our Only Problem

Today’s Campaign Update (Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Do Democrat candidates really want to stake their prospects on San Fran Nan? – The demented face of the Democrat Party was on full display for reporters yesterday, as San Fran Nan stuttered, stammered, spasmed, muttered and facial ticked her way through a press availability. The American Mirror captures the horror show that the rest of the fake news media refuses to report on. This is who Democrats want to replace Paul Ryan as Speaker of the House next year. Frightening.

Man, nobody could’ve seen this one coming. Oh, wait…: With Mitt Romney scheduled to announce his candidacy for the U.S. Senate from Utah today via a video posted social media, he has gotten his marching orders from the reliable fake journalists at the Washington Post. The post has a story this morning with a headline that reads, “With McCain retreat, some look to Romney to carry traditional Republican torch…” So, the Washington swamp demands that the failed 2012 GOP presidential nominee replace the failed and fading 2008 GOP presidential nominee as the Senate’s biggest squish RINO. Somewhere, Lindsey Graham is jumping up and down with his hand in the air, shouting “Hey! Hey! Hey! Remember me???”

Oprah and Mike Pence, birds of a Christian feather. – Just two days after The View host Joy Behar insulted every Christian in America by saying that Mike Pence’s habit of talking to Jesus constitutes “mental illness”, Oprah Winfrey told an interviewer she suffers from mental illness as well. In an interview with 60 Minutes Overtime, she told CBS’s fake reporter that she has not heard the call to higher office: “And wouldn’t I know? Because if God actually wanted me to run, wouldn’t God kinda tell me? And I haven’t heard that,” she says. Man, Joy Behar, who has refused to apologize to Pence on-air for her disgusting remarks – remarks that, if uttered about a Muslim would have seen her fired from her job before she could walk off the set – now has an Oprah problem. And nobody wants an Oprah problem.

So, this week’s senate “debate” over the DACA “kids” (Average Age: 26) and other immigration issues has been an abject failure, as the Campaign Update told you it would be two weeks ago. In fact, Democrats ensured it was a joke from the very beginning. After spending a month whining about wanting a “wide-ranging debate” on the floor of the senate on immigration issues, the Democrats had entered into their first of several filibusters to prevent debate within a few minutes. They were never serious on this issue to begin with, and they never will be.

The Democrats don’t really care about DACA recipients other than to the extent they can get them immediate amnesty and turn them into reliable dependents on the government and thus reliable Democrat voters. Barring enough RINOs agreeing to that – and lord knows, Lindsey Graham, John McCain and Susan Collins worked as hard as they could trying to get that done this week – the Democrats are quite content to just keep DACA alive as a campaign issue for the midterm elections.

The great news for Republicans is that the Democrats are wrong on this issue – it is a clear political loser for them at this point, especially in the congressional districts that are actually competitive. So President Trump is just fine with allowing DACA to run out on March 5 and using it to pound Democrat congressional candidates over the head with for the next 8 months through Election Day in November. This issue, combined with the ability for Republican candidates to show San Fran Nan’s snarling face and stammering voice on every campaign ad will, if used properly, probably ensure the GOP will retain its majority in the U.S. House and increase its majority in the Senate by 5 or 6 seats.

The bad news for Republicans is that so many of their members in the Senate remain RINO sellouts on the immigration issue that the President’s submitted plan that would resolve DACA, enhanced border security, restrictions on chain migration and elimination of the insane “diversity lottery” couldn’t even get 40 votes. That just shows us all how entrenches the DC swamp creatures are on this issue.

For those interested, here are the names of the 14 RINOs who still want to destroy this country’s culture at the altar of open borders:

John Barrasso

Susan Collins

Steve Daines

Mike Enzi

Jeff Flake

Jim Moran

Lisa Murkowski

Ben Sasse

John Thune

That’s 10. There are four others – Mike Lee, Ted Cruz, Rand Paul and Jim Inhofe – who voted “no” on the bill because they oppose even the 12-year path to citizenship offered to DACA “kids” in the bill. It’s probably safe to assume that those four would have been “yes” votes on this comprehensive approach if it had a chance of passage.

If you’re wondering, John McCain is still home in bed, and Lindsey Graham voted for the bill for his own mysterious reasons.

Regardless, what the vote on the President’s plan – which was sponsored by Iowa Republican Chuck Grassley – shows us is that our problems on the nation’s broken immigration system are not limited to the disloyal Democrat Party. There are plenty of Republicans who remain big roadblocks on getting anything real done.

Perhaps some aggressive executive orders on the matter are in order as of today.

Just another day in the DC Swamp is really, really hard to drain America.

That is all.

It is a complete mystery to me how and why members of the United States Congress, Senators and Representatives both, seem to have protecting these criminals even on their radar, never mind at the top of their list of concerns.

It’s crazy.

I have no illusions about the GOP. Just look at the GOP Senator’s performance with regards to Immigration and Obamacare. A disgrace.

The GOP will soon no longer exist as this country sheds its founding principles and Constitution in favor of a Marxist/Globalist regime.

The only question remaining is will the entire country succumb without a fight or will some portion of it rebel and attempt to form its own country.

Globalism, robotics, illegal immigration, and national insolvency are going to have a profound affect on this country in the not-too-distant future.

It’s inevitable.

I’m missing something. I see this as a 100% victory.

DACA will die. Trump said it will not be extended. Sooner or later we will get all Wall and security funding. ICE is running wild!

I don’t see where this is a loss in any way.

Without DACA, Trump has zero leverage over the Ds to get any sort of border security funding. And those 10 squish votes (make it 12 with Little Lindsey and Mitt) mean you will never get anything done on chain migration or the diversity lottery, which have been the two main drivers of Muslim immigration into the U.S. over the last decade.

This week’s failure ensures the continued destruction of American culture. I don’t see that as “victory” at all.

Why can’t the wall be funded via the Pentagon Funding? It is a defensive measure. National Defense is the purview of the Department of Defense.

Furthermore, the Army Corps of Engineers would be the natural manager of the contractors building the wall. They managed the ALCAN Highway. This would be a hell of a lot easier!

We are never going to get the right kind of immigration reform out of THIS Senate.
The only solution to them is amnesty.
Graham has told us he will keep working for illegal aliens until he is thrown out of office.
Take them at their word.

Flake, Corker, Hatch, Heller, Alexander, Graham, McCain, Murkowsky, Hoeven, Rubio, Tillis, Burr, Lankford, Gardner, Cornyn, Cochran, Collins, Sasse, Kennedy, Shelby, Ernst, Blunt, McConnell, Wicker, Portman, Isakson, Johnson, Toomey, Rounds, Thune, Barasso and Enzi are all Bush League Republicans. They want amnesty for 30 million.

We MUST elect new Senators.

Looks like I have to add Daines to my list of Bush League Republicans hell bent on amnesty for 30 million new Democrats.

The wall can always be funded in a variety of ways, all under the executive. It may take longer, but it can be done.

This wasn’t just the defeat of DACA, it was full exposure that Ds don’t even care about illegals, just about not securing the border.

It will crush them in November.

I think, after Trump gives Congress a chance to do it the “right” way, he will indeed just get to it through a number of other measures within his authority.
