When will there be a serious discussion of the dangers of gun-free zones? When will the media point out in their discussions of the guns used or how the guns were obtained that another attack occurred in a gun-free zone?
After listening to Senator Bill Nelson (D-FL) push for more gun control on Shepard Smith’s show on Fox News this afternoon, we decided to put up this post. Video above of when Senator Nelson made very similar comments later on during Special Report shortly after 6 PM EST.
Here is a listing of mass public shootings in Florida where at least four people have been killed. All gun-free zones of these were places where general citizens are banned from having guns. When will people realize that having a “marked” police officer on the scene isn’t going to stop these types of attacks? It is an impossible job for officers in uniform. We have made that point many, many times in the past. Our lastest post on the number of schools that have armed police officers is available here. . . .

Prayers up for the families of those who are no longer alive. Prayers for healing for the wounded and may the grace of God ease the pain for all those impacted by this tragedy.
Gun Free Zones are Kill Zones. Local School Boards should take action to protect students - hire security guards and restrict access are some first steps.
Criminals will always have guns, and sometimes they will have stockpiles of them. Does no good to disarm law abiding citizens. Can’t just walk in and start firing, if a security guard takes you out the minute you pull a gun. Just a few thoughts.
Yet there were two police cars on the grounds, and a cop supposedly. Also, they implemented access by ID only. They say because the guy went to this school he knew how to bypass security.
Beyond horrible, I’m broken hearted.
Plus he pulled the fire alarm causing all the kids to dump into the hallways.
Sick bastard planned it to the ultimate.

An armed good guy may not have saved these kids, but unarmed good guys were guaranteed to fail.
I wonder if this loser would have done it if he feared the rath of God casting him into the depths of hell for eternity. Of course now children are made to feel that religion is evil and stupid. Gun control is the only way to prevent these tragedies so say the liberal idiots.
There is an agenda behind these shootings. There is a war going on. Best to admit it.
At any rate, the White house has plenty of security, and it doesn't look like a military base, so maybe some clever architect could come up with something just as functional, but more attractive.
