I don’t think that the email was intended to cover up instructions that Obama issued at the meeting. I think it was to cover up stuff that had already been done.
That’s certainly possible, too. But the choice of that specific meeting for the CYA operation indicates that something happened in that room on that day that the people in attendance want to keep under wraps.
Start building some more prisons. We’re going to need them.
I think it’s so Susan Rice could say in the future: “But POTUS Obama told me everything was by the book”!

Grand juries made up of a certain group of people who strictly voted for Obama.
Perhaps they unexpectedly learned that their PDBs had a much wider distribution than they plotted. This “by the book” shit is for zero’s plausible deniability.

Notice that it refers to it as a follow on meeting. So there were apparently others.
The Rice email also does something else. Both Comey and Obama have testified or proclaimed that Obama never met with and instructed the FBI about any of this investigation. The Rice email shows contemporaneously with the events that Comey lied under oath and Obama lied to the United States at large as he always did.

What was the deal with Rice and McMaster openly, publicly high-fiving each other upon his appointment?
After reading the article it appears to me that Yates was calling the shots not Meuller. What was Yates doing on his team anyway? Wasn’t that a conflict?
Yates on Mueller’s team..?? AFTER she was fired in Jan ‘17?
Come to think about it; she did react as nastily to CINC as a high-end demon would to his exorcist; she was a screeching slasher before he even went after her. I thought her relatively ditzy, but maybe she is the true succubus in DOJ all this time.

It would not be hard to select a grand jury of 100% Obama supporters in the District of Columbia. Have a blind person select 12 people randomly from a crowd on the street. Likely 10 of the 12 selected would acquit Obama and his henchmen/women of any conceivable crime.
