Pelosi, McConnell, Schumer and Ryan Just Mortgaged on Your Kids’ and Grandkids’ Futures Again

Today’s Campaign Update (Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Tired of all this Winning yet? Part I – Food stamp enrollments dropped by more than 4 million from October to November of last year, the Labor Department announced yesterday. That is the largest single-month decrease in such filings ever recorded.

Tired of all this Winning yet? Part II – The Labor Department also reported that new claims for unemployment benefits last week dropped to 221,000, the lowest number of such claims recorded in 45 years. So despite the ongoing correction in the stock markets, the economy just keeps winning.

I’ve always said that the best way to avoid shutting down 14% of the government was to throw $300 billion at it. Doing that will always, without fail, get you 9 Democrat votes in the Senate, satisfy all the war hawks like Lindsey Graham and John McCain, and let all the Republican squishes like Mitch McConnell and Susan Collins go back to their states and brag about how well they are “governing.” Oh, yay.

So, when you see your kids, grandkids and great grandkids today, give ’em a big hug and thank them for allowing us all to keep living so well on all their highly-mortgaged futures, because the bill for all of this is going to come due at some point on their watch. Or, if you prefer, you can just say nothing and feel guilty about it, which is what most of us will do. Either way, the bill will be the same.

On the positive side, the budget deal does include much-needed additional funding for the military, along with the long-promised-but-never-delivered emergency relief funding for the victims of all the major hurricanes that made landfall last year. On the down side, the deal includes more than $130 billion in new social spending that will just raise the baseline budgets for an array of ineffective and often counterproductive social programs, and which will be used by Democrat politicians all over America to buy votes in November.

The bill contains nothing for the DACA “kids” (Average age: 26), and indeed, nothing on any other immigration-related matter. So the next few weeks will be consumed by news of fake negotiations over all that stuff, as the Democrats, in their never-ending bad faith, put on a show for the DACA kids one more time, only to throw them under the bus yet again come March 5. Because the Democrats are not going to agree to any significant immigration reforms, and the President is not going to agree to any DACA “fix” that does not included border security funding, severe limitations on chain migration, and the end to the insane visa lottery fiasco.

In other good new this morning, the LAPD has referred no less than three criminal cases to the District Attorney’s office in La-La-Land, meaning at least one of Hollywood’s many, many monsters might actually go to prison for serial sexual abuse and assault on pretty much every woman he ever came into contact with, except for Hillary, Meryl and Oprah. Cool.

Speaking of woman abusers, how about this Rob Porter guy, huh? If you hadn’t figured it out already, Mr. Porter is this week’s fake news media excuse for not covering all the incredibly scandalous developments involving a growing array of Democrats. Not that that excuses Porter’s alleged bad behavior – if it is indeed true – but the amount of obsessive attention all the fake news outlets have given this story is scandalous in and of itself.

Yes, it is a damn shame – again, if the allegations made by his former wives are true – that a sleaze like this managed to get past those vaunted FBI background checks (maybe those checks were performed by Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, who would have been too tied up texting each other to actually do the work) and work in the White House for more than a year. But let’s face it, hundreds of people work in and around the White House every day, and the sad odds are that any workplace involving that many people is going to be home to at least one such sleazeball, perhaps more. That’s the nature of our society today.

If this were the Obama Administration, the Porter story would have been completely hushed up by the fake news media. Maybe Fox News might have spent a couple of minutes on it. But this is the Trump Administration, where any excuse to ignore the latest developments in the biggest political scandal in American history is going to be amplified beyond all imagination by fake reporters and editors who are desperate to avoid doing their actual jobs.

Because that’s what the fake news media does. No wonder the Newseum in Washington, DC, which is nothing more than a monument to a time long past when America actually once had a functioning profession we quaintly referred to as “journalism,” is about to go bankrupt. A perfect metaphor for a dead profession.

Just another day in fake news media America.

That is all.

They serve the Globalists (not the American People),
and have and will 'bend their knee'' for the Illuminati
who are currently being taken down.

Sadly we weren’t going to win that fight. The Dems were DYING for an extended shutdown over something as ‘esoteric’ as a ‘continuing budget resolution’ and were not going to give an inch. If the Republicans don’t like what’s in the resolution, then they need to end the filibuster - if they won’t, they get what they deserve, and we’re stuck with it.

I’m just glad we didn’t do the IDIOT MOVE and shut down the government - it would have backfired horribly.

I heard one famous White House couple shared their emotions by flinging lamps and ash trays. Unfortunately, none hit their intended target. A flying vase? Pfftt...

And the propaganda keeps spewing forth telling me I must vote for the Republicans.

Neither one of the Uniparties are committed to stopping the spending train and the growth of big government.

The GOP will rearrange the management system and modify it around the edges.

Heck, I heard the “Bureau of Land Management” at the Department of the Interior is going to move land managers out to the field offices to be closer to the land they “manage”.

Why are they “managing the land” to begin with?

Last year Nielsen designated Washington DC the sixth largest media market in the United States, moving up from seventh.

That alone says it all.

But the demonization of the Democrats and the Liberals 24/7 in this forum, Fox News, talk radio etc. etc. keeps pouring down to make us think the Republicans are better.

They are the GOP.....not GOD......

It occurs to me that Schumer seems to think he has “gotten something” by giving Trump $138 Billion to spend domestically. Nothing says Trump has to spend it. The last laugh may be on Schumer.

“They are the GOP.....not GOD......”

Agreed. And that definitely includes Trump.

All the talk of draining the swamp is silly.

Nothing is more corrupt than spending our grand kids’ money like this current bill does. For the young and the yet-to-be-born this is, quite literally, taxation without representation. And at wildly higher rates than those we fought a revolution over.

There is absolutely no moral validation for doing this.

And why do we have 16 Intel agencies, it should be 3 or 2.5, like any competitive efficient market....

The Senate is the worst cesspool Nextrush. All I can hope for is we pick up 6, 8, or 10 in 18' and a majority of them are Trumpian's and Republicans in Name Only and Common Sensible at their Core. And that will just counteract the UniParty Douchebags on our side of the ledger, Murkowski, Collins, Graham, Rubio, etc and all the other gang of whatever caucus they belong too.

And hopefully one man or women of honor stands up and runs against McConnell and Ryan, their not down with all this, it is time to self extract, just like in a major Corporation when a new CEO brings in his new culture, ( yes change culture 1st ) if you are not buying into it, it is time to pursue other life goals or spend time with the family as the press releases say...

Here is a question that I have. Once this budget busting budget goes into effect, can the president, via executive order, freeze spending increases on certain things? If so, that could be a good solution to limit deficit spending.

Trump, Ryan, and McConnell do not deserve a pass on this.

To place the blame for this on Trump is pure hogwash. 100% pure hogwash.

I wasn’t speaking to you. I was speaking to those who include Trump as part of the GOP. He isn’t. The GOP is dead. In fact, the entire corrupt, bankrupt Fed Government is dead. It just doesn’t know it yet.

This house of cards known as the “United” States” is going to collapse on itself. The only question is when. Future generations are destined for a life under tyranny and poverty. Millennials love their Socialism. And they are fixin’ to get it - in spades.

Wrong. Obama mortgage our kids future. If the economy grows at 4 % and government keeps on collecting more taxes, it would offset the $300 billion increase. With more regulation reductions and other saving costs measurements, the country will survive.

I have just officially run out of give a chit. At this point its clear the US Congress will never cut the size of govt or govt spending. At some point the collapse will happen and we will get the haircut and move on. Not one dime for a wall or fence.

And therein lies the farce of all of this. Schumer and the rest of the political elites do not “ create money” to then “ give”.

This is all our tax dollars, or whatever “ credit card” mechanism they all operate under to create the false impression that they actually manage anything.

In other words if this is you or I we are bankrupt or a company operating this way is out of business...
