I'mn trying to find a website that breaks down how much blacks receive, as a community, compared with the taxes they pay, as a community.
I did have a figure of approximately $21 trillion dollars since the end of the Civil War, but I can't substantiate that. Mathwise, it's not a lot when you break that number by the number of blacks that have lived, or living, since 1865 and spread it over 150 years. It works out to be only about perhaps $2,000/yr, so it's a credible number.
I just can't support it.

While you are at it, why don’t you break down the amount of social spending on whites since 1865?

Let’s suppose that social spending on blacks will be considered to be reparations.
Now, what would you call social spending on whites?

yeah that's a good point but I bet blacks have received way more social spending versus the amount paid to the government than whites.
The time period in question should begin when other than wealthy had to pay income taxes. 1913, I think. So 105 years, not 150.

In the meantime-- I am in favor of all living former slaves to receive reparations. and I am in favor of all living former slaveowners to pay them these reparations.

We have spent 21 trillion on welfare and other "great society" programs since 1965.
I’m saying that, as an average for the community, whites have been paying reparations and blacks have been receving it. I’m not dealing with individual cases.
My purpose in this is to show the risk that blacks are creating by pushing this foolishness and could cost them dearly because whites, Asians, and Latinoes may end up deciding that pay as you go is preferential.
Even Obama, the Clintons, and Bernie Sanders did not push reparations for slavery. They push social welfare programs but nobody credible calls it “reparations.”

But it is that, even if they wouldn’t call it that.
You can add up all the amounts over 100 or 150 years, but what does it mean?
A dollar 100 years ago was worth $10 today.
So most of your mathematical total will come from the last 30-40 years, with all that high inflation.
That’s why accountants use a trick called “the present value of money” to add amounts over different years - basically you gotta adjust up all the older numbers. There’s tables out there to say what the inflation over the years adds up to.
So you have no problems with social spending on whites?
That is how Democrats operate. They work to achieve the objective, without directly telling people what they are doing. If the Democrats had pushed the exact same programs and spending and called them exactly what they are, those programs would not exist today. They just keep using double speak.
I do have problems with government spending on social programs. We are essentially paying a premium price on mediocre outcomes.
I believe everything social spendingwise can be done better through the church. The church is surprisingly power when they aren’t hampered by government.
Welfare benefits are actually pretty skimpy, on a per person basis. Spending for government schools, government employees, Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid, dwarf welfare payments; but those go mostly to white people.
