The Washington Post Changes SOTU Headline Over ‘Liberal’ Backlash
IWB ^ | Chris Black

Jeff Bezos’ blog, also known as the Washington Post, one of America’s most important newspapers which back in in the day was a bastion of investigative journalism, rewrote its State Of The Union headline following a massive backlash on social media from progressives/liberals or whatever you want to call the far left/social justice mob. The initial headline was tweeted by WaPo approximately one hour before the POTUS delivered his SOTU speech. The front-page headline reads: “|A call for bipartisanship”:

I keep hearing this talk of bipartisanship. The democrats have literally been unwilling to give him a single thing he wants.

It’s amazing to see bipartisanship defined as him adopting their positions and they give nothing in return.

They hate America, they hate the flag, they hate God, they hate the founders and the Constitution, and they hate everything that traditionally meant “America”

There is no way to be bipartisan with people like that.

“There is no way to be bipartisan with people like that”......

So Trump should just go forward WITHOUT them as long as the repubs control the “Helm”. The demodummies will always be and have always been obstructionists when things do not go their way. The liberals have lost control and now act like spoiled, whiney children. Forge ahead President Trump!

It has been that way for as long as I can remember. Bipartisanship has always meant, shut up and give the “democrats” whatever they want. I’m tired of it.

Bipartisanship is dead. I don’t think we will ever see it again. I think that went away during Bush II Administration, continued with Obama and now with Trump. It’s dead. In a way it is a good thing. The less Congress does, the better for the country.

"....It’s amazing to see bipartisanship defined as him adopting their positions and they give nothing in return...."

Republican idea of bipartisanship: Let's come together to negotiate a compromise so we can help all of the American people.

democRAT idea of bipartisanship: Come over to our side and give us everything we want or you're a sexist, racist, homophobe.
