Southerners have generally supported globalism, neoconism, open borders and political correctness when it comes to voting in GOP primaries, including presidential primaries. The white Southern population is why neocons and frauds like Graham keep getting elected in the South, not anyone else.
Up until the last couple years, most Southern conservatives didn’t care much about immigration, wanted endless wars in the Middle East and believed big corporations could do no wrong. The South is Bush country. Accept responsibility and work to change the culture of Southern conservatism to something better.
Why Mississippi, given the attempts to flip other Southern states?
Mississippi does not yet have a large enough urban area to outvote the conservative rural areas.
Racial demographics means Cobb will be S Fulton before long.

Prior to every election, going back a decade, Politico has declared that GA is turning blue. I think they just run the same article, but change the names.
