Congressman Caught Lying About Not Wanting to Impeach Trump

It should have been an easy Monday interview for Maryland Congressman Jamie Raskin (D). After all it was on MSNBC and his interviewer was Katy Tur who claimed that she wanted to throw up when Donald Trump won the election in 2016.

Unfortunately for Raskin, even Tur couldn't allow Raskin's outrageous claim about not wanting to impeach Trump to go by without challenge. It happened right after Raskin talked about setting up a commission to determine if a president is fit for office. Hey, it could be any president, not necessarily Trump. Or so Raskin ridiculously claimed followed up by the flat out falsehood that he never talked about impeaching Trump. To his surprise, Tur did not let that phony claim pass without a fact check as you can see in the following video. Note the comedic highlight when Raskin looked off to the side as if desperate for help while being called out on his lie.

That video will follow Raskin for the rest of his life...and even afterwards. He is one of the biggest impeachment boosters in Congress but is now pretending to set up a commission to determine a president's fitness for office as if he doesn't know it is the same president he wants IMPEACHED.
