Sylvester Stallone was accused of sexual assault in a police report filed in Santa Monica, Lt. Saul Rodriguez of the Santa Monica Police Department confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter.
The alleged victim filed a report last month, Rodriguez said. The incident occurred in the 1990s. No further information was available.
Technically, the alleged incident is past the statute of limitations for California. It is unclear if police will investigate nevertheless.
This is the second time that the Rocky actor has been accused of sexual assault in the wake of the Harvey Weinstein scandal, which rocked Hollywood since the first New York Times story broke about the mogul on Oct. 5.

There was this time. About 10-15 years ago. Heck, more like 20 years ago. It was ... I dunno ... it was in the 90s, I guess. Anyway, there was this guy, you know, actually more than one of them ... and we were in this bar -- actually, we were in this guy's house. Or his friend's house. I forget. But, you know, stuff happened. It's all kind of blurry, because, you know, I was drinking. Anyway, Sylvester Stallone was there and ... whatever. So, do you think I can sue for $10M? Or maybe just $5M?
I can just hear the conversation in lawyer’s office that prompted this:
Accuser: “I want to sue Sylvester Stallone for sexually assaulting me in the 1990s?”
Lawyer: “Stallone assaulted you? What did the cops do when you told them?”
Accuser: “..... crap.”

What scares me is I think there are states that eliminated the statute of limitations on this kind of crime.

The Stallone accusation seems solid and real.
That said, it’s way past the statute of limitations.

I agree. This crap is getting out of hand. If it wasn’t important enough then, it’s not important enough now. I felt the same with the Cosby accusations, too.
I’m pretty sure as a drunk college kid on a Saturday night 30-35+ years ago, beer goggles fully adjusted, I made unwanted awkward advances on a fair number of young women.

I don’t know the criminal statute, but the statute of limitations for a civil lawsuit for assault in California is two years. Not sure if and how they plan on getting around that.
