Thanksgiving is around the corner, but LaVar Ball isn't exactly in the thankful spirit.
The outspoken basketball dad sat down with Chris Cuomo on “CNN Tonight” Monday evening to discuss his son LiAngelo’s recent shoplifting arrest in China and LaVar’s insistence that he does not need to thank Donald Trump for his apparent help in freeing LiAngelo and the other two UCLA player’s arrested.
“It just doesn't make any sense why you didn't thank him,” Cuomo said.
“Did you thank the doctor for bringing you into this world?” Ball asked.
Cumo chuckled, unable to respond.
“Well you better go back and find him, ‘cause you lucky,” continued Ball, laughing.
Trump went on a Twitter tirade Sunday shortly after Ball tried to downplay the president’s involvement in his son’s release.
“Now that the three basketball players are out of China and saved from years in jail, LaVar Ball, the father of LiAngelo, is unaccepting of what I did for his son and that shoplifting is no big deal,” Trump tweeted....

I watched balls interview on CNN. What an ignorant asshole. He founded some sort of business that made money ? I find it hard to believe as he sounded extremely stupid and arrogant. If he was successful in business it was probably a front company to launder drug money .
I think Trump should send him the bill.

I would say this if it were my own son.
President Trump should not have intervened. The chump broke the law in China. There was no international incident. He is no more important than the probably 100’s of US citizens that get arrested overseas each year. Lavar Ball should have had to pay “Tea Money”to the Chinese officials to see his son and LIKE JACKIE CHAN’s SON he should have gone to jail.
The kind of karmic justice the Ball guy is going to get is likely to be painful.
At this point, the way he keeps doubling down on his ungrateful stupidity, I hope it hurts a LOT.

Entitlement mentality. Trump was just doing his job, like a delivery doctor, because the job of the President is to let every shoplifter off the hook.

LaVar Ball is reveling in this. Hopefully the President realizes that now and decides to ignore him.
