Surveillance footage at one Pennsylvania bank shows a customer intervene during an apparent attempted robbery.
The man can be seen in the video entering the bank shortly before another man walked in with his face covered, carrying what appeared to be a gun.

What a hero, even though usually these kind of guys don’t want to be called heroes which makes them even more so IMO. I think I read that this guy was some kind of ex-marine. God bless him.
Ultimately, this is the future for all of us in the Country.
The people (Public) will have to confront evil ..... head on, and deal with it with what ever it takes.
Sad but True. My opinion here....., - The day of counting on help from the authorities has faded away. Yeah, of course their check is in the drawer, but they might as well just send it straight to the house.
What’s the old saying .... Every man to his own tent.
IMO, as a private citizen, it would be a very bad idea to get involved in a robbery situation where your or someone’s safety was not immediately at risk. Most all bank robbers don’t go into a bank with the intent of shooting their way out.
What could go wrong? Well, once someone steps in, the potential for shooting goes much higher and any threat to do harm may become a reality. What happens if there is an accomplice?
A bank I worked out long ago was staked out by the FBI expecting a stick up as they were informed of the date and time. The plan was to let the crooks inside the outside door and have the inside door locked so that they would be trapped. That worked well except someone did not consider robbers to be between teams of agents inside and outside the bank. When the crooks began shooting the agents were in effect shooting at the crooks who were between both teams meaning they took rounds aimed for the crooks. It was a mess. Fortunately they had vests and the wounds were to the extremities. You just never know what they will do, they sometimes just don’t give up.
They just need a security monitor.
Obviously foiling this robbery was a racist act.
