funny how it’s always the 1911 fans claiming that the Glock feels wrong and points wrong and doesn’t fit the hand well though.
I don’t shoot one, too heavy but that was told to me by a 1911 fan as a joke. Glock fans take things too seriously.
As a 1911 fan, I can relate to both sides. My first line of defense is my 1911. When I raise it, it’s already on target naturally. I can shoot faster with the 1922 than with anything else. My first eight shots will be .45, and they will hit.
In the event that I need more shots than eight, I am switching to my Glock. I have 33 rounds of 9 mm, not counting spare magazines. I need an extra fraction of a second to aim, but if I run out of ammo again, I’m probably facing a zombie apocalypse. It’s hard to argue with that capacity. I still shoot faster and more accurately with the 1911 (thanks, Gunny!), but the Glock is more than good enough and will never run dry.
