This happens all the time . A good example is the on going Trump/Russia investigation while Muller , Rosenstien were previously involved in covering up and ending the Uranium One scandal .

Stonehouse nailed it. What is ironic is that this is an identical behavior to that exhibited by the ideological forebearers of today’s media, Pravda. Pravda, back in the day, would routinely accuse the US of funding different terrorist groups, cheating on arms control treaties, etc., etc. Any reasonably astute observer would immediately know what the Soviets were up to...and the louder they complained, the more we needed to be concerned.

It’s not projection, it’s strategy and the key to its success is first owning the media.

By first accusing others of what they themselves are doing, they put the innocent other people on public trial in the multi-media courtroom that they control.

And when the innocent others rightfully accuse their accusers, they are made to look even more guilty in that multi-media courtroom for doing so.
