The forest fires around surrounding his hometown should be viewed by the Sec. of the Dept. of Interior from the air. Can’t inspect forest damage/fire fighting from the ground.
This is the take I started to think about last night upon hearing about the Price apology.
Could it be the administration found out about the prior administration’s SOP? Think about the White House Travel Office fiasco when the Clinton’s came into the White House.
I would assume each department has its travel and logistics office because I could not imagine these Cabinet heads do their own travel plan logistics. There are people already there whose job it is to arrange it for them.
I wold assume that when the administration learned from each Secretary of the SOP practices, they continued to use it knowing the Deep State would leak it as a scandal. If they were to call attention to it, the continual crickets would be the only thing heard from the media, or they would do as predicted and start their ‘racist’ crap.
So, here we are with now a second Secretary in a few days with the same scenario and it is being painted as a Trump scandal. I honestly believe the administration is playing this one to turn on them as well because now that the hyperventilating had begun, they can soon submit the evidence they were only doing it as it was done years before. Catch22 for the media, again!

The coverage is there because it is news. Its news whenba priest is caught with a prostitute. Not when the town drunk is. Each Secretary and staff have a travel budget. They submit thier travel through a budget office. The office approves and buys thier tickets. It’s either that or tie up a military transport.
It’s how government works. Additionally, it is not safe for a Secretary and thier staff to fly commercial.

In fairness to Pelosi, and I can't believe I'm saying that, President Bush ordered the Speaker to use military aircraft following 9/11. Hastert used it before Pelosi. I assume Boehner did and Ryan does as well.

Admiration? Where did you read this? I recall more than once distancing and rejecting it. Nothing he or administration have done would remotely suggest them supporting people stealing from the government, taking up arms against the government, etc. No way.
I believe Devos pays for her travel, but Devos is rich enough to travel to the grocery store in a private jet.
