Video: From a quarter to half of Earth’s vegetated lands has shown significant greening over the last 35 years largely due to rising levels of atmospheric carbon dioxide, according to a new study published in the journal Nature Climate Change on April 25. The greening represents an increase in leaves on plants and trees equivalent in area to two times the continental United States.

I was mentioning on a thread about ten years ago, that a warmer planet is a wetter planet. And you could see an INCREASE in the glaciers at Antarctica because some areas there are so cold they get no precipitation. Warm it up a scad and there could be huge snowfall where there used to be none.
Imagine the oceans receding to the point where the continental shelves become inhabitable again, and the Sahara becomes forest again. Yes, AGAIN.

Wait, wait, wait. You mean nature is doing what it’s supposed to do? More CO2, which plants need to grow, are causing plants to.....grow and be greener? You don’t say. But I thought all this ‘excess’ CO2 was supposed to get stuck in the sky and turn the Earth into a giant overheated deathball.

Serious question here (for an otherwise Captain Obvious subject)
Greenhouses tend to be more hot and humid than the surrounding atmosphere. Could it stand to reason that the healthier vegetation growth on this planet (which is good for life) could also contribute to a more efficient “greenhouse effect” and thus contribute to the warming of this planet?
I guess, what I am asking is, if the liberals want to cool the planet, shouldn’t we be destroying the vegetation? If this logic holds, we should be clear cutting rain forests like mad just to keep up with the erfs pace of re-generation.
