OK, it’s the greatest thing since sliced bread...but the article doesn’t really say how it works.
I didn't feel like ploughing through all that mush in the article; so I turned to the Freepers as though to say: "What's this about?"
Sure enough, I got a good answer.
I figure it’s a new, improved and more efficient way for the music producers to rip off the artists and music consumers, disguised as a more efficient means of getting music published. Based on what I’ve seen of the music industry, anyway.
It looks to be a marriage of a knockoff of Bitcoin (Etherium) and a variation of Napster. I’m vaguely confident that’s more or less (maybe a lot less) accurate. </grins>
