With Seth MacFarlane contributing to it, it will also go in a politically correct direction. You never know. Seth MacFarlane is a serious equal-opporunity offender. He makes fun of everybody.
He offends me a lot, but I still am a Family Guy fan and always enjoy how he trashes the other side also.

They already did that when they announced there would be “at least” one gay character.

In an article years ago I read that the George Lucas Darth Vader and his Imperials and Dark Side was modeled after Nazis and the good guys were obviously The Allies. During the Bush derangement syndrome days, just like the mental illness of Trump hatred of today,Lucas said that the Dark Side was the Bush/Cheney Administration. These imbeciles are truly deranged and detached from reality.

This is the type of thing that guarantees Star Trek: Discovery will not be a big success.

"Yep you would swear that the Hollywood idiots would rather lose money on a TV show And make their half assed political statement, rather than just stick to entertainment and decent story lines."
Everyone in Hollywood is there to make money, but they are only allowed to make money if they follow the Prime Directive -> Advance The Progressive Narrative.

Perhaps, but it won’t take itself so seriously....like it’s going to save mankind from all injustices, just by the screen play alone.

Portraying bad guys as being homogenous white people obsessed with racial purity has been standard operating procedure in Hollywood since the 80’s.

Basically, Hollywood makes blockbusters to fund personal interest works that espouse their point of view.
If they were able to make money at it, they would produce their anti-freedom and pro-communist all the time. It would be all that we would see and hear.

I loved Star Trek the series on TV and a few of the first movies. I did not tire of Star Trek, its producers tired of me.
ps
Most Trekies are conservative and or libertarian. I will not see this movie unless it is free on Netflix. I refuse to give financial support to those that use Hollywood for political purposes instead of entertainment.

Every movie or TV show is created to put a thought in your mind. None of them are made just to entertain. They all attempt to program the viewer with liberal ideas.
The story line is a tool to get you to watch, and to exercise a willing suspension of disbelief. You can’t watch it with a critical eye. You accept everything, so you will be entertained.
Your mind now has an opening. The producer pours his ideas into your mind, and doesn’t care if you notice.
