I gave up on ST long ago, having watched TOS in grade school.
I eventually watched the reruns of Enterprise, but that’s about it, save for maybe a handful of all the others combined.

Do the sets seem as cheap remastered, as they are unremastered?
I watched a few epis on a LPUHF cable channel about 10 years ago, and I thought, “Boy, I never realized how fake the sets were watching the original broadcasts as a kid”. Any of “desert planet fight scenes”, and the “tribbles” epi in particular.
At least they used painted plywood. I watched some Flash Gordon/Buck Rogers serials on TCM, and those sets were made with cardboard and a minimum of tape to hold them down...
