The problems we are heading into now won't be solved politically. But the president we have may be our last touch with grace and peace. Truly when little Johnny finally comes into his own, all hell is going to break loose
Nearly a year ago I wrote the following narrative that first appeared in Canada Free Press. It works too well with this article not to use it again. Since I wrote this, Im proud to say I have seen and heard this little vignette referred to by some brainy people I admire in both literary and audiovisual pieces they have done. It is one of a million singular experiences I have been blessed with. Im glad it has been used by others in spotlighting the development of the Frankenstein that is currently bringing America to its knees.
Years ago in a Wal-Mart, I was walking past the toy department. A screaming four year-old was demanding that his mom buy him the little car set he had opened and scattered all over the floor. After the young mother had several times declined and asked him to come along with her, the boy threw one of the toys at her, leaving a cut on her forehead.
They get scared when an outsider gets involved.
These are not children. They are adults who know that acting childish is their means to establish supremacy.
You're talking about the rioters and protesters in the 1960s. You're talking about the NAACP and the ACLU and the CBC. You're talking about the SDS and the Black Panthers ... even Saint Martin Luther King.
I’ve seen a lot of spoiled brat kids with their wimpy mothers. The snot-eaters have succeeded in subjugating their female parents. They know exactly how to get their way.
These kids get older. (not “grow up.”) They become legally adults. They don’t change. They still are spoiled egotistical brats in tall bodies. They get to drive and vote.
In the story, the mother didn’t pay for the thing the monster broke.
Trump is a negotiator. One tactic is to deny the other side power by ignoring their demands...anyone with a three year old is familiar with this.
Think about it, someone calls you "Racist!" and you reply, "That's terrible, I'm so ashamed and sorry, what can I do to make it up to you?!" and you've just handed them all the power in the negotiation.
However, if (like Trump) you say, "I don't care.", then that takes all of the wind out of their sails. The only thing they can do is yell "RACIST!!" louder, in hopes that they annoy you into action....
....which is the point of discourse that we're at now, nationally. It's bad enough so that even low-intelligence voters are seeing the ridiculousness of it. Should it keep up - and so long as Trump doesn't appease those who are yelling - 2020 will be a shoe-in for him.
I’m curious how you include MLK specifically?
See my tag line.

Simply that he was the most famous leader of the more than a decade long fiasco known as “the sixties”. I don’t give any of them a pass.
Start spanking them...they’ll learn to stop.
OK, I just don’t know if I’d classify him as childish. Certainly most of the garbage of the ‘60s was indeed. Worst decade ever. But hippies continue to dominate and they take every opportunity to celebrate themselves and how great they were while morally superior to others.
They have learned well the fundamental lesson of "The Sixties": The way to get what you want is to riot in the streets. Earning it is for chumps.
psy·cho·sissīˈkōsəs/noun
a severe mental disorder in which thought and emotions are so impaired that contact is lost with external reality.
"According to my opinion, and the opinions of many defectors of my caliber, only about 15% of time, money, and manpower is spent on espionage as such. The other 85% is a slow process which we call either ideological subversion, active measures, or psychological warfare. What it basically means is: to change the perception of reality of every American that despite of the abundance of information no one is able to come to sensible conclusions in the interest of defending themselves, their families, their community, and their country. It's a great brainwashing process which goes very slow and is divided into four basic stages. The first stage being "demoralization". It takes from 15 to 20 years to demoralize a nation. Why that many years? Because this is the minimum number of years required to educate one generation of students in the country of your enemy exposed to the ideology of [their] enemy. In other words, Marxism-Leninism ideology is being pumped into the soft heads of at least 3 generation of American students without being challenged or counterbalanced by the basic values of Americanism; American patriotism. Most of the activity of the department [KGB] was to compile huge amount / volume of information, on individuals who were instrumental in creating public opinion. Publisher, editors, journalists, uh actors, educationalists, professors of political science. Members of parliament, representatives of business circles. Most of these people were divided roughly into two groups: those who would tow the Soviet foreign policy, they would be promoted to positions of power through media and public manipulation; [and] those who refuse the Soviet influence in their own country would be character assassinated OR executed physically, come Revolution. "--KGB Defector Yuri Bezmenov--Soviet Subversion of the Free Press (Ideological subversion, Destabilization, CRISIS - and the KGB)
I've been calling them that for months due to their mindless kindergarten rhymes.
The obvious countermeasure is powerful mike-speaker combination, throwing massive feedback right back at them. Super irritating.
Firing indelible die at the worst terrorists who pick up barricades and other heavy objects is also something I have not seen employed yet. Mark them now, arrest and jail later.
Carry on...
For later.

So, I rarely see people in society “correcting” the little snowflakes. It would seem we have been conditioned or threatened into submission.
How do we as a society recover from this death spiral? At some point, we must collectively say ‘no’ to all of these little snowflakes.

Case in point: I was taught in HS in the ‘80s to boo-hoo the Kent State issue.
Not so sure about that. Never was then, certainly not now!
