No, it doesn’t. And just because some creeps decided to riot together and one maniac decided to kill somebody, doesn’t make American nationalism a bad thing. (I hate that word, the real word should be: patriotism.)

Funny thing, I’m vacationing up in a very liberal section of Maine, it appears. Why do they all have multiple American flags flying on their houses?

It's a fine line. And when people step over that line—people of any color—they need to be called out and repudiated.

I'm very proud of my heritage, and of the princples on which this nation was founded.

However, the color of the skin of the People who espoused those principles is irrelevant. Liberty and its principles are universal concepts which belong to all Americans, and it doesn't matter who "invented" them.

The fact is, American ideals are far larger—and far more perfect—than any of the flawed men who embraced them.

Any attempts at "separatism", division, balkanization, and disunity are gorssly misguided, IMHO.

I'm an American nationalist—not a white nationalist, and the fact that others want to be fixated on skin color doesn't mean I'm going to take that un-American path.

The important thing is to realize that the vast majority of Americans are perfectly aware of "what's up", and they know very well that the Media is attempting to drive wedges between people.

Most Americans are post-racial. That's a fact. Every one of us sees the evidence of that with our own eyes—not on the fake news, but in our everyday interactions with our fellow Americans.

So I will remain a staunch nationalist and believer in American exceptionalism—something which flows from both our diversity and our unity.

So, to answer your question: Does Pride and Nationalism equate to Hate and Supremacy? NO. But when you start qualifying "Nationalism" based on racial criteria, it becomes an inferior mindset, and is just as wrong for Whites as it is for Blacks, Latinos, or anyone else.

Anyone can be brought up to appreciate and cherish American Liberty.

E Pluribus Unum should forever be America's motto. Anything less undermines our exceptionalism and relegates it to the mundane.

I have yet to see anything that would warrant calling him a creep but OK. For certain, I have yet to see anything that would indicate he “decided to kill” anyone.

Can’t provide an answer without knowing what the flags are.
At times I Fly my State Flag with my American Flag. I have flown my Service branch flag also and the POW flag.
