The headline in the New York Times read:
New York Times Editorial Writer Must Testify in Sarah Palin Lawsuit
What did I tell you? "She has a case and she and her lawyers can have a field day in discovery and deposition."
I'm not alone is recognizing how devastating her lawsuit is. She has good lawyers (the team that destroyed Gawker Media), a good case, and all the time in the world.
Lawyer John Hinderacker at Power Line is boasting about his prescience in the case.
He knows the law.
I know editorial writing. Did it for 27 years. The writer decided to deflect the very serious political assassination attempt on a group of Republican congressmen by a Democratic Party activist -- one of the many resistance marchers that have hung around Washington since the inauguration.
So the writer tried moral equivalence -- repeating a provable lie about Sarah Palin that was debunked six years ago.
Palin read the editorial. She lawyered up. She sued.

She has an excellent case. The editorial was false and harmful. As for malice, the New York Times drips with malice toward Palin because she is a woman who opposes abortion on demand.
Less than two months later, the libelous editorial writer has to testify under oath.

I want Sarah Palin to own the NY Slimes ... literally. She would melt the filth (like pouring water on the wicked witch) by insisting on truth in reporting.
NYT has a high % of gay, Christian-hating writers, full of hate.

The New York Times is chocked full of actual malice to everything not lunatic liberal based. They keep the hatchet razor sharp.

Not being a Billionaire with fountains of money to keep an obsolete business model entity afloat for propaganda purposes, Sarah Palin would have no choice but to liquidate the Times.
I could live with that.
Next I’d like to see James D’Amore sue the crap out of Goolag.
That building would make a nice new NRA headquarters. :)
But first she could fire all the faux journalistas.
The faux journolists would all quit rather than work for Palin. She could sell the physical assets left, if any are unencumbered. Hire freelancers who would work remotely.
All of us who have stopped reading and refuse to sub would form the new subscription base.
It could be run on a shoestring, even without the PO’d leftwing advertisers, who would all bail.
