Senator Kid Rock--For Real

We need some sharp elbows and rough edges in DC

A brash, rough talking, sometimes crude political outsider with a large media following, taking on the political establishment’s elite. Where have I seen this before?

I’m talking about Kid Rock, not Donald Trump. Robert Ritchie, better known as Kid Rock, has announced that he is running for the US Senate—and I for one believe he is quite earnest about it, and furthermore may very well get elected.

I know nothing about him, but I welcome any change to our highly bureaucratic, highly formalized, rent-seeking, rigid political system

Yes he will get elected. A son of Michigan and especially Detroit.

But he also helps others...Rock donated $10,000 to a Boy Scout troop in Florida, to replace camping equipment which had been stolen from behind a church.

After race-baiter Al Sharpton and his liberal colleagues demanded Rock ban the confederate flag from his concerts, the music icon issued yet another three-word response – “kiss my a$$.”

Citizen representatives is a good idea. It will make the media’s head explode.

Senator Kid Rock--For Real

I hope he runs for Pubbie Senate seat from the Great State of Michigan!

He would be so much better than the Rat Senator Debbie Stabunow (kinda of a trick on her last name).

Debbie, it is time that u retire since u have been nothing but a waste of flesh sitting on ur Senate seat!

We need fresh new blood in the Senate!

"Heck, we have that comedian in the senate right now and he is still a comedian from the state of Minnesota----Senator Al Franken!"

BTW, Al Franken, the comedian, is up for re-election next year!!!

Al Franken & Debbie votes with the Rat party all the time and they are a big fan of the Mooselimb Imposter Obama!!!

Believe me when I say that Al Franken and Debbie are a big joke and they need to be retired out to pasture!

He's a MAGA Trumpist, meaning he's not really a much of a social issues crusader, more of a Make America Great Again populist.

I like him!

This being said, he think his initial tweets about running for Senate might have been self-promotion and not really sincere. In fact, his https://kidrock.com/ website belongs to Warner Bros. I don't think initially he was serious because he didn't really think people would take "KID ROCK FOR U.S. SENATE" seriously.

Now he's polling in the lead. I'm sure he's about as floored by this as anyone.

He's quoted as saying that he's "accumulated enough f*** you money" to allow him to do what he wants so my question is, now that he is being viewed as an actual, serious candidate, is he willing to take the massive pay cut from rock star to senator?

And it will be really funny when they start accusing Kid Rock of being a racist, when they know nothing about the man’s story.

No other top-tier politico is stepping forward. Most pundits say it leans blue. I say go for it.

It is unlikely that Frankenstein is up for reelection next year, unless Minnesota has an entirely different way of electing Senators.

Good Lord, that makes my numbers in the Senate all screwed up. I will have to re-think how many Senate seats can be captured by the Republican party. McConnell needs to go as the majority leader in the Senate. Heck, they probably will screw up a good opportunity.
