Not exactly...
Mostly true for me, too - back in Eisenhower Administration days. But there was one exception; a teacher gave a homework assignment question, Do we have to do what society says? I concluded that the answer was no. In class the teacher responded to that answer by saying, We like to use the word society when we are talking about the government. To me that was a blatant tell. I was not then familiar with the first two paragraphs of Thomas Paine's Common Sense
SOME writers have so confounded society with government, as to leave little or no distinction between them; whereas they are not only different, but have different origins. Society is produced by our wants, and government by our wickedness; the former promotes our happiness POSITIVELY by uniting our affections, the latter NEGATIVELY by restraining our vices. The one encourages intercourse, the other creates distinctions. The first is a patron, the last a punisher. It certainly clarifies the issue.Society in every state is a blessing, but Government, even in its best state, is but a necessary evil; in its worst state an intolerable one: for when we suffer, or are exposed to the same miseries BY A GOVERNMENT, which we might expect in a country WITHOUT GOVERNMENT, our calamity is heightened by reflecting that we furnish the means by which we suffer. Government, like dress, is the badge of lost innocence; the palaces of kings are built upon the ruins of the bowers of paradise. For were the impulses of conscience clear, uniform and irresistibly obeyed, man would need no other lawgiver; but that not being the case, he finds it necessary to surrender up a part of his property to furnish means for the protection of the rest; and this he is induced to do by the same prudence which in every other case advises him, out of two evils to choose the least. Wherefore, security being the true design and end of government, it unanswerably follows that whatever form thereof appears most likely to ensure it to us, with the least expense and greatest benefit, is preferable to all others.
” found a wall blocking the doorway to her classroom”
Well, that’s clever lol!
Why does she keep saying “Ah toe jaw?”
There are woman and ladies.
Just with Cops calling shooters and murderers “Gentleman”(makes me wet to puke), this woman is not a lady.
Good for them!
There may be hope yet!
Students are always cruel to teachers who demonstrate stupidity. This not racism, it is a teacher being mocked for being stupid.
I applaud the young conservative rebels in her class. Fight the leftist power structure.
“Im thinking these teachers wont be working much longer at that school..........”.......
Guess again, they will probably get a raise. They, and ALL teachers, need a directive to teach ONLY the subject they are hired to teach and stop trying to brainwash our youth,
Interesting, yes it does.
I got in a lot of trouble in school by challenging the notion that my teachers were inherently worthy of respect. Those who earned it got it in abundance. But those who assumed it was their due by virtue of their position got nothing but scorn from me.
In the end, I almost certainly paid a higher price than they did, but those experiences shaped my my disgust toward authoritarian mediocrity.
Decorated the room? Hopefully they were road maps illustrating how to GTFO of the country forever.
Actually, I think the students are going to be in deep trouble and the teachers given some sort of award.
I get the impression that this, uh, “lady” never lets up the Trump hate. She uses her position as “teacher” to torture these kids daily.
I have my doubts that people like her are intelligent enough to be teaching a serious class.
No wonder so many kids hate school anymore.
Bwahahahahaha!!! Got what you deserved lady. Shoe meet other foot. Bwahahahah!!!
Born with a chip on her shoulder. She started it all. If she can teach math she needs to stick with that.
Since you didn’t hear it, she kept saying, “Ah tol jyall.”
This person has a teaching certificate?
In both grade and middle school, I had teachers (mostly black, one white) who genuinely hated me with a palpable evil that basically destroyed all my sense of self-worth and esteem.
And here I shall call them out:
Mrs. Thompson, Mrs. Hill. teachers aid to Mrs. Hill——
I have forgiven you. You must ask God’s forgiveness and confess what you have done. Don’t you DARE touch or treat a child like you did again. Child abusers will wreap the wrath of Hell while you are alive and at your last breath.
