A coffee shop that caters to Second Amendment Supporters and armed customers is hoping to open in 2018. So far it is only a web site with an online store that sells ground coffee and T-shirts. They are seeking investors, if you are interested.
Here is a description of the proposed enterprise, from their web site. From operatorcoffee.com:
To us, Operator Coffee is more than a coffee shop, it's a cause. We are a group of airborne veterans, special operations veterans, and active members of the shooting community. The idea for Operator Coffee was born out of a love for quality coffee and the desire for a way to get veterans and shooters together. When veterans leave the military it is easy for depression to set in. The loss of military and combat brotherhood, combined with a belief in being misunderstood by the civilian world can be overwhelming. With veteran suicide on the rise, we want to create a place for veterans to get together, reestablish that bond, and seek support from brothers and like minded individuals. Operator Coffee isn't just for vets though, everyone in the 2a community is welcome to join in the fun. Our goal is to become the family favorite for all second amendment supporting citizens. Join us as we build a coffee company that supports the second amendment, veterans, law enforcement, and traditional conservative values. It might become a competitor to the VFW, without the requirement that you have served overseas. At present, it appears to be another interesting idea seeking financial backing.
I can hardly wait to visit.
Coffee, double cream and sugar, with a drop of gun oil.
Rent adjacent space and have an indoor range with eats.
Can’t they just open a coffee shop and see how it goes?
Why do they need investors? Won’t investors dictate since they’d have their money involved?
Some lib is going to go in there with the sole purpose of getting shot so he can then sue the business into extinction. The lib will think he is being noble and doing everyone a favor because, well, that’s how idiot libs think.
Why need investors?
Not a lot of people have several thousands of dollars just lying around, especially vets.
They probably need to raise operating capital just to get opened up. There’s money needed for licenses, down payment on the building, insurance, buying the equipment, utensils, tables, chairs and the myriad of other items one needs to open up a coffee place....not to mention operating capital to keep any employees paid during the first few months until you start showing a profit.
To become viable they need to be getting samples of the coffee they plan to offer to the potential investors along with their intended pricing. The business is coffee after all.
To compete with the VFW and the American Legion wouldn’t be hard at all.
In my area all of the posts are pretty much just bars anymore. They typically have a nice building with maybe some pool tables, a dance floor, and some dart boards. Perhaps a shuffleboard table.
They hold very few activities suitable for veterans who don’t drink or who are still raising kids and want family activities.
It is really sad what they have become as compared to what they offered through the sixties.
And the odds they will ever be robbed are now ZERO. APPLAUSE!!!

Hoppes #9 is a prefect “eu de toilette.”
I can hardly wait to visit the place. Put the small arms range in the basement. An occasional wiff of powder would add to the overall ambiance.
The place will be packed on weekends if the service staff are like Hooters.
