In a recent interview with CNNs Newsroom with Brook Baldwin, Montel Williams took the opportunity to express how angry he feels about the new Health Care Act. And while debate from every side should be present in the formulation of legislation, his comments suggest that he is either willfully ignoring the acts, or is perhaps just ignorant.
In the opening lines he says:
They (the Republicans) want to go back and see if they can find a less expensive medication; well the bottom line is There Is No Less Expensive Medication. And then goes on to say that they are suggesting that he comes of his medication. He goes further and states that by 2020 there will be 140,000,000 Americans who need medication and that they wont be getting it.

“Is Montel Williams a Shill for Big Pharma, Or Just an idiot?” Or both?
One or the other. Not necessarily a binary decision...
There’s good money in being a shill.
Coming from the same person who had Sylvia Browne on his show.
Big Pharma.
The liberal’s boogieman.
Montel Williams is struggling with multiple sclerosis. That certainly would influence his comments here.
Yes.
Alex Trebek is worse. He sells a SUPER expensive term life policy that pays next to nothing to OLD people who don’t need it.
Once you are retired you don’t need much in the way of life insurance.
Even worse, they have the widow saying “I don’t want my kids to have to pay for my burial.” BULLSTICKS!! Your ESTATE will pay for it.
If you are already so poor that a few grand will kick you out of your home the last thing you need is to spare your kids the cost to bury you.
Life insurance for old people is criminal. If they want to insure each other to boost their lifestyle when one kicks off fine. The idea of GUILTING old people to save their selfish kids a few bucks is nauseating.
You sure post a lot of useless crapola from a lot of useless sources
Are you out of work? Too much free time on your hand So?
As Chico Marx’s (”Baravelli”) defense lawyer in “Horse Feathers”, Groucho said it best: “Baravelli may talk like an idiot, and look like an idiot, but don’t let that fool you. He really IS an idiot!”
I doubt if this “guy” even knows the first thing about health care.
Thumbs up!
