Job Creation Data Show Trump Voters Benefit From the Trump Economy

President Donald J. Trump was in Ohio last week to gin up support in Middle America for his plan to modernize the nation’s infrastructure. The President, who overwhelmingly carried the Buckeye State, said it was “time to rebuild our country” and to “put America first.”

“America must have the best, fastest and most reliable infrastructure anywhere in the world,” President Trump said. “We will fix it,” said Trump, standing along the Ohio River. “We will create the first-class infrastructure our country and our people deserve.”

While his national numbers have taken a dive, the PPD Buckeye State Battleground Poll shows he remains popular in Ohio. PPD Battleground State Likely Voter Profiles show the same is true for most other states the president carried in November.

We think there’s at least an economic reason for this.

The ADP National Employment Report and the Gallup U.S. Job Creation Index show Trump states in the South and Midwest are leading the nation in job creation. A review of private sector job creation data show Trump voters are disproportionately benefiting from the Trump economy.

Let’s start with the Gallup U.S. Job Creation Index, which returned to its record high in May.

In general, the South, a typical vote-rich region for even typical Republicans and, the Midwest, which is not, have led the way in job creation. Meanwhile, the East, a democratic-led and voting stronghold, is lagging far behind Trump country with an average of +31 ( up to May). That compares to +42 in the South and +38 in the Midwest.

“The East has experienced virtually no growth since last fall,” Art Swift of Gallup noted.....

Trump Voters Benefit From the Trump Economy

No kidding? Darn! I'll bet that is why he got elected.

I'll bet these same voters were sucking hind tit under both the commie Democrats and the commie RINOs.

Poorly written headline. It is supposed to read something like: Amidst endless scandals and a failed presidency, an incompetent Trump manages to create jobs for his white nationalist supporters.

“A review of private sector job creation data show Trump voters are disproportionately benefiting from the Trump economy.”

Richard, you’re an idiot. Democrats live in those states too.

Don’t make me review the data, nor the analysis. If I do, and publish it, you and the “researcher” will feel stupid.

The PPD poll? Is that like, significant or something? I’ve never heard of it.

I’d think the Trump prosperity would be pretty well spread to everyone except the ones who are on the dole and they don’t seem to have been affected at all, yet.

“A review of private sector job creation data show Trump voters are disproportionately benefiting from the Trump economy.”

And that is because of what? Taxpayer money being pumped in to “green grocers” via Acorn or something? I don’t think so. Seems pretty much grass roots to me.

No new tax incentives, still have obongocare, still have horrible regulations, still have EPA, still have race cards to play, still have illegals, still have catch and release, still waiting and hoping but it is early still.

Did you somehow miss all the regulations he’s gotten rid of? Or the huge decrease in border crossings?

Just helping you out.

What is the point of this article anyway? New jobs is a bad thing?

Yup, I’ve completely missed that since the illegals are stil coming in and being released but not as many and I’ve seen no publications on regulations that have been gotten rid of. Have you? EPA is still suing farmers for plowing fields, we still have the same fuel economy standards staring us in the face, we still have Dodd-Frank but at least that got past the house, we still have a 77,000 page tax code, still have a 3.8% surtax on “unearned income” etc. We are told progress is being made though and seeing little bits of it and expect it will take time.

Tell me what regulations he has successfully gotten rid of? Name three and I’ll be gratefully informed and educated.

There are a bunch of EOs directing lots of studies but I don’t see any that outright say, “The following regulations are hereby eliminated.” The initiative is there but we are still short on results. The pit is deep. I don’t expect miracles but I’m a born skeptic looking for concrete results.

“Worth noting, while most psephologists refer to Pennsylvania as being part of the Blue Wall in the Rust Belt Midwest, job creation data considers it an eastern state.”

psephologists? What are those? Nobody uses words like that with a straight face expecting hardly anyone to know what it is.

Here is a list of ALL of the regulations so far. I just don’t know what they are.

They don’t seem to be very material to me but I guess they are to someone.

13 regulations reversed out of the 20,000 obungo implemented is a great start I’ll admit but I think we need a lot more reversed sooner than later without waiting on CRA.

I’ve already recognized his EOs directing studies and the one stating that for evey one new regulation two must be eliminated.

Right after the election one of the most common comments I heard from liberals was that Trump voters were idiots who voted against their own best interests. Instead we are getting a Trump boom.

The article seems to indicate that the Northeast is lagging the most. That’s the home turf of the Deep State and their fellow travelers.
