Michelle Obama looked out into an audience packed with mostly male tech workers and asked them to make room for women in technology.
Obama was a guest speaker at WWDC, Apple's annual developer conference, on Tuesday. She was introduced by Tim Cook himself before sitting down with Lisa Jackson, the former head of the EPA who now heads up social and environmental initiatives for Apple. Their hour-long discussion touched on Obama's post-White House life, diversity in tech and not falling down the stairs of Air Force One.
Apple did not allow press into the event, but CNN Tech spoke to a developer who was in the room for Obama's talk.....

Perhaps.
But not you!
Magilla Gorilla has nothing on you mooch - except looks, class and intelligence.
Michelle could do for silicon valley what she did for school lunches.

Better leave two seats for Mooch!
They continue to eat their own.
Was Carly not a female?
The national herpe flares up. And at the table? With her everything is food, isn’t it?
Most of us know that there are few women that go for advanced degrees in computer tech.
Many businesses want to advance women and minorities but too few are at the higher levels.
Nope.
Why would God fill you full of milk and eggs if your natural role was suppose to be in the kitchen? /S
I work with some of the brightest women with advanced degrees in computer tech.
For the past 27 years.
It would appear that more than just the Mooch have not clue one.
No offense, FRiend.
Unfortunately for Michelle and her leftie buds, Silicon Valley runs on demonstrated accomplishments in the engineering and computer sciences fields - you get to the table by showing what you can do, not so much by talking faster and louder than the next guy - when enough ladies can match other techies in what the Valley does, they’ll get their place at the table....
Not clear that “she” is a woman.
Percentage-wise, how close are they to 50-50 with males?
Well since Lisa Jackson and Moochelle have NOTHING meaningful to contribute to the tech industry, they are hardly the appropriate judges of how many and which women should be “at the table” in technical work.
Let people of whatever description rise and perform on their own merits, not on the basis of socio-political pressure moves by the likes of Moochelle.
50-50 a couple of years ago.
Over the past 4-5 years, female college interns have been brought in and hired at the end of their internships.
About 60-40 females, as we speak.
Works for me...;-)
Who told him HE was a woman?
