Tillerson: Trump isn't 'walking away' from climate change issue
Politico ^ | June 5, 2017

Secretary of State Rex Tillerson on Monday said the president is still committed to addressing climate change even though he withdrew from the Paris climate pact last week.

“He’s not walking away from it — he’s simply walking away from what he felt was an agreement that did not serve the American people well,” Tillerson said, according to his remarks released by the State Department.

The secretary of state spoke in Sydney alongside Secretary of Defense James Mattis in their first joint appearance in a foreign country.

Tillerson said President Donald Trump is interested in “perhaps a new construct of an agreement” and believes climate change “is still important and that he wants to stay engaged on the issue.”

Trump on Thursday vowed to pull out of the Paris climate agreement, saying it puts the U.S. at a “very big economic disadvantage.” He also said he’s open to renegotiating the agreement, though France, Germany, Italy and the United Nations stated after Trump withdrew that the pact isn’t renegotiable.

During the press conference in Sydney, Tillerson also said America’s fight against terrorism won’t be affected by the decision by Bahrain, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates to withdraw diplomatic staff from Qatar because of that country’s ties to Iran and for supporting terrorism.

The media keeps asking for Trump's thoughts on climate change. We know what he said prior to the election. However, multiple staff didn't answer, but the media would not shut up about it until Nikki Haley & Scott Pruitt assured them he believes in man made climate change. Here comes Tillerson (who definitely leans (if he isn't) neocon) out there again insisting Trump does and that Trump wants a new agreement. Here's the thing - if Trump doesn't believe in man made climate change, he should be able to say so, but the media would explode in fury as they are the modern day thought police. The media hates him anyway, so he might as well screw them and be honest about it.

Haley, Pruitt, Tillerson, Ivanka, and Jared all need to be told to STFU and forget about their collective stupidity and/or jettisoned from TEAM TRUMP!

Who the hell does Tillerson work for, America & its citizens or the globalists who desire to destroy American wealth & power?

I'm beginning to think he is working to advance the globalists’ agenda!

Tillerson was recommended by Condoleeza Rice and wanted to stay in the Paris Accord. He’s definitely more neocon in terms of foreign policy.

Questions I’d like to ask the Pope and other promoters of the hoax:

What is the temperature of the Earth?

What was the temperature of the Earth 20 years ago?

What is the CORRECT temperature of the Earth?

How do you know?

This is why we are pulling out of the Paris Agreement...

The 500 most polluted cities on earth:
187 of the Top 500 are in China (as well as 100 of the Top 222).
98 are in India.
The EU has 36 of the top 500, and they are all in Poland, Czech, Bosnia, and Macedonia.
Not one is in the US. NONE.
87% the rest are in the rest of Asia. (Iran and Saudi Arabia have 3 in the Top 5).

(source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_most_polluted_cities_by_particulate_matter_concentration)

And now look at this:

2015 carbon dioxide emissions by country:
1. China 10.6 billion tons
2. USA 5.2
3. EU (all) 3.5
4. India 2.5
5. Russia 1.8

(Note: 10.6 > 5.2+3.5+1.8... yes, you read that right... China already spews more than US-EU-Russia combined)

(source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_carbon_dioxide_emissions)

Now check this out:

Under the Paris Agreement, by the year 2030 China "promises" (and we can always trust Communist regimes with Social Issue promises 17 years out) to "peak" (meaning increase until it gets there) its emissions at a level "only" 34% higher than current emissions...

(Source: Reuters 6/30/2015 - http://www.reuters.com/article/us-france-china-climatechange-idUSKCN0PA1G420150630)

well 34% of 10.4 bn tons is 3.5 bn tons... which is equal to the entire output by the entire EU combined today. China already spews as much as the US-EU-and-Russia COMBINED, is the most polluted nation on earth... and gets to ADD another EU on top of that... while paying nothing... and the Western world has to cut back, and finance the developing countries, to the tune of $100 billion from the US alone. All this, and trillions in lost productivity, all so that the planet MIGHT be 0.3 degrees cooler in the year 2100 (the Paris Agreement's stated goal.)

Sorry, no thanks, let's refigure this one

I don't know what the temperature of the earth is today.

I do know that it hasn't changed in almost 20 years (19 years and 8 or 9 months!)

I have no idea what temperature is best for the earth. For humans, I'm guessing the current temperature, +/- 10 degrees Fahrenheit.

It’s propaganda. Read the MSN News App. Every single article is negative against Trump. The reporters for the New York Times, Washington Post, CNN, NBC, etc. are on Twitter acting as liberal activists. The reporting is DNC propaganda. The reporters decide what to cover, how to cover it, how much time to devote to it, what angle to take, and whether or not we should be outraged (hint - only outraged if it’s Trump or a Republican). It’s so obvious to me, and the reality of it has been hitting me harder and harder. However, it wasn’t until the past couple weeks that I fully made the cross from “it’s biased” to “it’s pure propaganda.” Following the media this election cycle and into this Presidency has been an eye opener for sure.

The sad thing is, Trump’s team is not sufficiently combatting the tide of this - leaving Trump to take his defense into his own hands on Twitter. The media has aided in his low approval ratings. He should counter it. I wrote a column on it (in my sig). I recall when he was campaigning, Kellyanne Conway said he shouldn’t be losing and insisted on some changes like more positive messaging. Where is she, and why aren’t they doing this?

The failure to clean house is a Republican trait that the Democrats do not share. The Democrats have an easier time of housecleaning than Republicans would if Republicans went in for that sort of thing, because the Republicans don’t replace the Democrats and arabs and communists that the Democrats stack into the agencies. The Republicans would have a much bigger job if they did the job. Mostly they prefer to let the Democrats run the permanent government and sabotage a Republican president.

The bill is supposed to be in the big budget for fall. When the Palestinians and Israelis are indicating that they are interested in peace talks, moving the embassy would kill those talks. I know this is an issue for some, but this just isn’t an issue that is a priority for me.

As far as your third point, though, Trump has to bring his own staff in to these departments. These acting people from Obama are still working for Obama. This needs to be priority number one. I would recommend he take a couple of weeks to focus solely on interviewing and hiring staff that align with what he ran on. The media won’t have much to talk about except speculation. Meanwhile, let the Congress work on legislation (even though they so far have been feckless and useless).

>> The sad thing is, Trump’s team is not sufficiently combatting the tide of this

No doubt it’s an overwhelming force.

I can’t speak to the vertical structure of NYT, WAPO, and Politico, but we know which corporations operate ABC News, CBS News, NBC News, MSNBC et al. Once the good citizens decide to stop patronizing Disney, Comcast, Time Warner, and CBS things will change. But unfortunately these parent corporations are not held accountable for the malice their employees direct at the Presidency. Perhaps the parent corps don’t care because Conservatives continue to subscribe to the abuse.

The MSM stooges are the bit players. Consider CNN’s abrupt divorce from Kathy Griffin. AT&T is looking to buy Time Warner. TWC owns CNN. Earlier in the year, the Trump Admin expressed concerns regarding AT&T’s intentions. Meanwhile, Griffin figuratively decapitates Trump. What is AT&T to do?

Trump’s pick to lead antitrust division raises concerns over vertical mergers

BY HARPER NEIDIG - 05/30/17 11:41 AM EDT

President Trump’s nominee to run the Department of Justice’s antitrust division said that vertical mergers, such as the proposed AT&T-Time Warner deal, can “raise competitive concerns.”

“I think every transaction should be reviewed based on its particular facts and circumstances,” Makan Delrahim wrote in response to questions submitted by a group of Democratic senators.

Rex T has been a train-wreck .
He has not cleaned house at the State
dept.
He has not replaced Obama bots at the embassies ,
He has not submitted even Replacements nominees for these positions.
These dangerous Muslim refugees programs have not been shut down and visas are being handed out to every radical group in the World .
But he has time to suck up to a far left Obama bot media outlet about a scam he peddled because Exxon was going to screw us with it.
Fire the guy.

Exxon is a Founder member of the Council on Foreign Relations, and Tillerson has expressed personal support for CFR goals.

The CFR is ground zero of The Swamp, a revolving door for Dem and Republican government agency heads and staff.

No surprise there will be no swamp-draining at State or Defense. Sometimes half a loaf has to be accepted.
