In a speech otherwise laden with praise for President Trump, Rep. Roger Marshall broke ranks on immigration, questioning the feasibility of a mammoth border wall and saying mass deportation would wreck Kansas’ economy.
Marshall represents Kansas’ 1st District, a sprawling, mostly rural and agrarian district that covers the western two-thirds of the state. He said the U.S. needs to revise its immigration policies and document those who come to the United States to work in the farms and feedlots....

Visa overstays are as bad if not worse than sneak-ins. The overstayers were let into this country through the front door based on their promise to leave the country when their visa expired. No sympathy for them.

Not too long ago, teens used to do this work. If you get rid of welfare, these people would do agriculture work as well.
I have a much better idea-how about deporting all the illegals, then paying the young people 16 and older in rural areas to work on weekends, in the summers and after school on the farms and in the feedlots? Everyone did that when I was a kid and it didn’t harm us one bit-it sounds like a perfect remedy for the snowflake problem we have now...

Agreed. Visa overstays should be put on a bounty hunter basis. Not for the pick up, ICE can do that but for the information. Let people find the guy, notify ICE and get a bounty if he is right.
