Darrell Issa, the chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, says he is confident the story behind the IRSs targeting of tea-party and conservative groups applying for tax-exempt status will eventually come out. But patience will have to be a virtue. Issas staff acknowledged late last month that the IRS had handed over to the committee a little more than 10 percent of the documents the IRS itself has admitted are relevant to the committees investigation.
Issa mentioned the case of Susanne, a lawyer whom he said had worked for Democrats on the House Oversight Committee until 2008. His reference is to Susanne Sachsman Grooms, who NROs Eliana Johnson has reported joined the IRS in the year President Obama was elected. She served the IRS as an adviser to the deputy commissioner for services and enforcement and then as a senior counselor to the chief of criminal investigations. As Johnson has reported: At the time, the deputy commissioner for services and enforcement her boss was none other than Steven Miller, who held the post of IRS commissioner from November 2012 until his resignation in May after the IRS scandal broke. Grooms herself left the IRS in 2011 to rejoin House Oversight as its chief Democratic counsel. There she advises ranking Democrat Elijah Cummings on how to handle the IRS scandal, which involves the people she used to work with at the IRS.

Defense Departments Benghazi Letter Reeks Of Democratic Coordination

The Defense Department official who last week sent a pointed letter hammering the Benghazi Committees investigation into the Sept. 11, 2012 attacks, has deep connections to Democrats, as does the agencys new liaison to the committee.
The direct tone of the letter, as well as the fact that it was leaked and publicized by committee Democrats, raises questions over whether the document was crafted in order to stymie the committees investigation.
But Hedgers past political work and that the Defense Departments liaison to the committee, a former White House lawyer named Beth George, raises questions over whether the agency coordinated with Benghazi Democrats.
Georges supervisor at the Department of Justice was Daniel Grooms, who served as senior counselor in the national security division from April 2013 to February 2014. Grooms wife, Susanne Sachsman Grooms, has served as staff director for the Benghazi Democrats since July 2014.
According to a Politico profile of Benghazi staffers last year, Grooms has worked for Cummings since 2011 and served as counsel on several high-profile investigations, including the Fast and Furious gun running scandal and the IRS targeting of conservative groups.
She also worked for Cummings when California Rep. Darrell Issa, a Republican, led the House Oversight Committees investigation of the terrorist attacks, which left four Americans dead.
Susanne Sachsman Grooms Democratic staff director and general counsel
Sachsman Grooms, a former IRS and Justice Department lawyer, is well-versed in political investigations, having worked since 2011 for Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-Md.) on the House Oversight Committee, which investigates the executive branch and is often embroiled in partisan battles as a result. Cummings is also the ranking member on the Benghazi panel.
Over the past few years she worked as a lead attorney for the Democrats on multiple contentious GOP investigations including the “Fast and Furious” gun-walking operation and the IRS probe of tea party groups. On each of those, Democrats and Republicans butted heads, with the GOP accusing the administration of foul play and Democrats calling the investigations a partisan circus.
Shes also worked Benghazi issues before when former Oversight Chairman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) was running his own highly-charged probe of the terrorist attacks.
Now you wonder where the leaks are coming from!!!!
Now, just for kicks tell me this: Does she have a spouse or significant other? If so, where is that individual employed?
Next, how much money has been rolled back (donated) to the DemonRat Party? Has she maxed out her donations?
Just curious.

Please note the other contact person:
Jack Thorlin Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) Jack Thorlin is Counsel to the Minority on the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations under Senator McCain.
The GOP Congress really doesn’t want to get to the bottom of this any more than the Dems. If the truth were known then the IRS would cease to be a viable agency and the federal government would face financial collapse.
Please read the comment on the bottom of my post #14
By the way, she was also the contact person for handling Hillary’s email document requests for the committee!!!
Here is the profile for the REPUBLICAN Director and Legal Counsel who worked with her... and for Trey Gowdy:
Phil Kiko GOP staff director and general counsel
Kiko, an ex-Hill staffer-turned-high-profile Beltway lobbyist, has donated $29,711.96 since 2001 almost entirely to Republicans, Federal Election Commission filings show. Still, his appointment caused a huge stir among conservatives because of some of his former clients.
Before heading up the Benghazi panel Republicans, Kiko had work as Smith-Free Group vice chairman, where he represented the ACLU in 2013 on the Voting Rights Act as well as the Leadership Conference on Civil Rights, which is comprised of left leaning organizations representing labor, gay rights and the environment not exactly compatible with GOP priorities.
The incestuous swamp definitely needs draining
I think that should be priority #1 for Trumps DOJ ,, uncovering , investigating and charging government employees that have obstructed justice... There can be no better use for the DOJ than that ... if the swamp isn’t drained publicly and convincingly there will be a civil war /// or a collapse into anarchy.
