The first ladys decision to visit Saudi Arabia without a wearing a head covering prompted headlines across the globe on Saturday but many in the Kingdom took to social media to comment on her classy and conservative look.
Melania Trump landed in the Saudi capital of Riyadh wearing a Stella McCartney jumpsuit adorned with a statement belt, which was the most eye-catching feature of the all-black overall.
The stretch cady jumpsuit with wide-leg silhouette, keyhole cut-out at the bust, and cuffed sleeves caught the attention of many international media outlets and was admired by Saudis who appreciated the modest, yet classy look of the first lady.
Melania Trump before leaving the United States vs. Melania while landing in Saudi Arabia. Respect for the countrys traditions, one Twitter user said with a thumbs-up. Not only modest, but elegant at the same time.
The loose outfit almost resembled the traditional black abaya a loose over-garment, essentially a robe-like dress worn by Saudi women.
The simple black look was decorated with a chunky, chain-link necklace and statement metallic python waist belt from Saint Laurent.

Democrats doubly outraged because unlike just about any pink and blue haired dem chick or (dude?), Melania is highly attractive.
The most attractive outfits any of my girlfriends wore were worn by this one gal I dated during college.
She was dressed in a long skirt and beautiful blouse or sweater, beautiful boots.
No one ever look prettier.
She sure could wear a mini skirt on the occasions that she did, but she was most striking in those other outfits.
Go figure.
The only thing Melania wouldnt look good in is a burka
Beautiful color..style...fashion model look.
Wow! Haven’t seen such “class” since obunghole and the pet gorilla bowed and groveled their way through Saudi Arabia.../s
Why do I think there won’t be a mime appearing picturing the Wookiee with the phrase “Miss me yet?” in a word bubble?
Amazing photo. Disney couldn’t assemble a better “royal” couple.
I can’t figure out, however, whether they’re being entertained by the Munchkins or the Seven Thousand Dwarfs.
Maybe our mothers and grandmothers were right. They always said, “Leave something to the imagination.”
The last time my ex-wife ever looked good in a dress was on our wedding day. Fortunately, the only times I see her now are in those Walmart shopper emails.......
I don’t think shes conservative.
So if ugly muzzie women have to cover to prevent Muzzie guys from lusting for them . .
Good thing theyre wearing those sheets to hide their woodies
That’s a boss. My president. Glad I got on board at the elevator ride.
She looked fantastic. Going into the plane, with her red skirt, then exiting in a modest, gorgeous dress, with her hair for all to see (love the lack of head scarf!)....
She nailed it. Respectful, yet still making a statement, "I am an American," not cow-towing (sp?) to the culture of subjugation of women.
I have posted this before: once I went swimming at the local pool.. There was a woman, in a full burka, who brought her daughter to swim. The girl was young, pre-pubescent, and wore a cute swimming suit. The little girl (probably around ten years old), jumped into the pool to have fun...while her mother stood there in her black head-to-toe dress, probably sweating up a storm in the heat and humidity of the indoor pool.
I thought to myself, "enjoy your freedom while you can, little girl..."
Good thing she didn’t wear a white dress like all the dudes. Could have been an international incident
Michelle Obama
Hillary Clinton
Big-arsed gold “statement” belt. :)
I wonder how long it will be, before gals in Riyadh are sporting Melania-style pantsuits?
Those two misfits would look better with the full headdress with eye slits :-)
