A ranking Republican statesman this week told an off-the-record gathering that a “coup” attempt was in progress against President Donald Trump, with collusion between the largely Democratic media and Trump’s numerous enemies in the Republican Party. The object of the coup, the Republican leader added, was not impeachment, but the recruitment of a critical mass of Republican senators and congressmen to the claim that Trump was “unfit” for office and to force his resignation.
It’s helpful to fan away the psychedelic fumes of allegation and innuendo and clarify just what Trump might have done wrong. Trump will not be impeached, and he will not be harried out of office. But he faces a formidable combination of media hostility—what the president today denounced as a “witch hunt”—and a divided White House staff prone to press leaks. The likely outcome will be a prolonged dirty war of words that will delay Trump’s domestic agenda and tie down his loyalists with the chores of fire-fighting.....

We're up to the task—so is our President. The Democrats and GOPe—hereafter and forever more to be known as the Swamp—not so much.
In fact, one of the most infuriating aspects of all of this is the total lack of loyalty being shown by the Congressional GOP leadership.
Why isn't the Congressional GOP vigorously defending their party's President against this blatant coup by the Swamp?
Many GOP rats are every bit as dirty as the Democrats. Indeed, they're worse, because they're supposed to be showing some party loyalty. Some balls.
These fools in Congress proclaim their own ignorance. Instead of leveraging the power of their party in the national government, and capitalizing on Americans' support of the Trump agenda—thereby enhancing their own and the party's political power—they instead gratuitously undermine their own President, and in doing so, ultimately endanger their own political futures.
It's hard to imagine the GOP leadership—especially in the People's House—being more idiotic.
They're a bunch of cowards who are unworthy of their position in government, and will one day be swept away into irrelevance...

Trump should “go to the mattresses,” by supporting only those Republican candidates who support his agenda in the 2018 elections. If that means primarying incumbents, then so be it.

A coup is any group unlawful overthrowing a government. This is the deep sate trying to coup the President of the United States.

The left began planning this coup the day after the election. Now, with the help of the insurgents on the Republican side, it looks like they might succeed. How will the America population deal with this “first” in it’s history. Will Pence be the President or is this such a Revolutionary move that they will install Hillary Clinton in Trump’s place. Are we headed into Civil War? This whole thing is a product of the media who learned well the techniques of Saul Alinsky at the knee of Barack Obama. You don’t have to murder your opponent..You just kill his life and ruin him through false charges and widely dispersed lies. No one will stop you if they fear they will be next.
