You are right, however I can't give a number just yet, but that is minor.
This is what I see...
* Other than rare instances, the have not grown beyond the 5 stages of grief.
* Many are stick stuck on anger and denial.
* When we go shillaced against Obama we were in the dumps.
* But after a few months all it took was One spark, aka Rick Santelli's rant
* That was Organic, I went to one of the 1st rallyes on 4/15/2009, and got to see people I had no idea shared my values, it was reaffirming we were not alone.
* The Pussy Marches? IMHO they are not Organic, they are about, anger.
* Our gathering were polite, clean ( we left the park better than we found it ) and it became the intellectual seed-corn to many that I will throw my hat in the ring and bring us back to Liberty.
* I do not see a ground swell of Candidates from Team "D" that will somewhat echo Liberty of a Libertarian flavor that will get the interest of those in FL, NC, MI, OH, PA, WI that voted for President Trump.
* All they have to offer is more Socialism, other than legal Pot ( if you believe fostering a new generation of stoners is libertarian ), what do they have at this time? More Solar Energy? Oh ya after another firm went broke. Socialize Medicine? We found out with 0-Care their wasn't a Pony in that Pile of Horsechit. Gay Marriage? oh they got that one already the T of LGBT? ah, I don't see that as a defining issue. More Gun Control? I don't see it, they have draconian laws in NY, MA, CT, CA, NJ etc, Whoopdee Freakin do, they are loosing anyone with skills, brains, and a love of the 2nd Amendment to Deep Red States as the continue to turn those States into Socialist Kabutz's.
Until our opponents on the other side of the isle get beyond all I stated above and find a purpose and viable alternatives to Trumpian policies they will get their butts kicked. Especially if this economy takes off like I think it will. All the regulatory engine Governors have been disconnected by the likes of 30+ Exec-Orders, pit bulls like Wilbur Ross in our Corner making sure we don't get screwed, The Fracking Revolution to make us net exporters beside energy independent and with Ocare possibly gone that is the biggest small and mid-sized jobs program we will ever see. Not to mention the Repatriation of Capital and a 15% or 20% Business Tax. If we get those in the next 6 to 12 months things just might be at full throttle kicking in by fall 18', even thought that flywheel usually takes 18 months. They can't run and make headway if the economy is smoking...
