Are you ready for the mock funerals in defense of Obamacare? One Manhattan real estate investor has started a super PAC aimed at defending the law using shock tactics. From Politico:
“We must be far more visceral,” said Jason Haber, a Manhattan real estate investor who started a super PAC that he said will host mock funerals — including “tombstones, coffins, even eulogies” — later this month for “the constituents that will be killed as a result of losing access to health care.”
Haber, who has worked in New York Democratic politics, said “in the age of Trump, nothing short of blunt and brute force will work as a counterweight,” adding, “We can’t win based on the merit of our ideas but rather on the way in which we deliver that message.”
Not everyone in the Democratic party is on board with this plan though. Some even worry it will turn away more people than it draws in:
“Staging a funeral has a lot of shock value, but runs the risk of overplaying the hand and turning off swing, moderate or independent voters who would otherwise agree with us on this issue,” said Caitlin Legacki, a Democratic strategist who worked on the 2012 campaign of Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.).
Another Democratic operative in Pennsylvania compares the approach to pro-lifers (he calls them “ghouls”) carrying signs with photos of aborted babies. Attempting to shock people into changing their political outlook doesn’t always work as expected. Sometimes it just makes them back away slowly, convinced the people on the other side of the argument are fanatics. I think that’s probably going to be the case with this effort. Watching a bunch of college kids hold pretend funerals mostly convinces me that college kids have too much time on their hands.
It’s not even the most shocking tactic the left is embracing. As Allahpundit noted last week, a Democratic college student in Washington, D.C. is suggesting people have their ashes delivered to members of Congress as a final act of resistance.
The left’s approach to politics has shifted from ‘when they go low, we go high’ to ‘when they go low, we go six feet under.’
“We can’t win based on the merit of our ideas but rather on the way in which we deliver that message.”
That is because they no longer have an oligopoly/monopoly on controlling the information flow.
Without control over the information flow, their ideas are shown to be terrible.

The Democrat Party is nothing but a paper tiger, a dog with a lot of bark and no bite, and a bunch of intellectual lightweights who can’t win without bullying and threatening. These people should have been destroyed decades ago, but the GOP is led by sellouts and people who are bed buddies with these frauds. Makes me mad that the country has been subjected to leftist indoctrination that could have been stopped at every turn if we had people in positions of power with a spine opposing them.
When you don’t have facts on your side, you have to resort to emotional pleas and theatrics.
Maybe he could hold a funeral for Christopher Lane the 22 year old Australian kid from Melbourne who was murdered by black gang members because he was white in retaliation for the cold blooded murder of Obama’s Son.

25 million people lost their health care plans under Obamacare, Trumocare has only passed the House. The mock funerals are because if Obamacare, right?
I suggest the Dems nominate Moe, Larry and Curly as head of the DNC as they would be less comical than what we’re seeing from their members.
