If you were a 10-year old kid, and observing mom on a regular basis committing felony-crimes...what respect would you have for her?
I know reporters have to produce material to survive and fill up empty space in a newspaper or minutes in a telecast, but this was the most useless and worthless piece that I’ve seen in a long-time.
From the article (hope it is true):
Tran had no idea that Vietnam, which had long refused to re-accept people who had left the country, changed its policy in 2008, agreeing to take back Vietnamese citizens who had been deported from the United States.
Because of that policy change, an immigration judge will determine Tran’s future when she finishes her drug sentence in 2019. She has been ticketed for deportation since 2009, when she pleaded guilty to assault with a deadly weapon (although she said she never touched the weapon used in the crime).
The solution? Don’t be stupid and pretend like having kids will somehow innoculate you from the law.
Our skepticism would not be so strong if we had not been lied to by X-president BO’B and crew for the past 8+ years. So, YES, you are seeing a vast quantity of SOB stories planted to make us appear to be heartless, unloving, and basically ugly AMERICANS who make up our AMERICA. As the stories continue to pull the heartstrings - just undo the knots and seek the truth.

So her father is gone (back to Vietnam), her mom remained in Vietnam. Are her kids 13 yet?
sounds like the family is already broken. Drug dealing and armed assault aren’t simple crimes.

Would that more Vietnamese speak out about the horrors of Communist ruled Vietnam. The Left has gotten away with treason in their support for the North Vietnamese Army during the Vietnam war and whitewashing all war crimes and civil rights abuses from the Communists.
The girl’s optimism about a new home in a new nation faded into loneliness, depression, indentured servitude, drugs, a suicide attempt, assault with a deadly weapon, drug dealing and hopelessness.
I can feel some sympathy for a person with problems with loneliness and depression, but the sympathy stops with criminal convictions for drug dealing and assault with a deadly weapon
Go to any prison in this country and ask them if it was unfair they were separated from their families. That’s what happens when you break the law

She is facing 25 months for drug charges- not deportation. Deportation comes later or not all

Why doesn’t she unify the family in her homeland? Take her ILLEGAL, NON CITIZEN rugrats, with her.
I saw how they wrote about an Asian illegal immigrant. They must realize were all burnt out hearing about south of the border, middle eastern and African illegals being made to leave.
Odd they didn’t choose to write about some thug rapist, who’s been thrown out multiple times, isn’t it?

If I were a ten year old kid, observing my mom committing multiple felonies, I’d probably think it was normal, hence a country full of really screwed up kids, illegal or not, mimicking her behaviour.
