I work in IT in south Alabama. There are major network outages being reported by cell carriers, such as AT&T and Verizon. Other carriers are reporting it too. The maps show all of the Eastern seaboard from just south of Maine all the way to the bottom of Florida and the southeast United States plus major parts of California and Nebraska. We don't know exactly what is going on and I am not trying to alarm anyone but this is what I know at this point.
What maps?
My work internet shut down for about 10 minutes earlier
I had to stop freeping and GET SOME WORK DONE!!!!
ABCCBSNBCCNNMSLSD he asked hopefully ...

Kinda like digital hi-way maps. You don’t get to see them cause we don’t work there

N Korean/Chinese/Russian cyber attack?
Sorry for not being clear. The maps i saw were AT&T and Verizon outage maps for the US. Some people are able to get service but most arent. It is affecting ISPs and cell phone providers. I apologize for being vague, i am a huge freeper but i dont post that much. Just wanted to let others know.
Another Internet of Things attack. Will be spoofed to Microsoft again.
Thanks,no apology needed.
.
Not to be alarming here, but researching this apparently this is going on in Europe and Japan as well. Europe seems to be even worse.
Interesting. Having no trouble with computer, but did have some very bad static noise on a cell call a little earlier. (And last night, I missed the start of the Yankees game due to some issue with the MLB channel.) I suppose it is not related.
Thanks for the notices on these outages. Hopefully will be resolved soon.
Hmmm, yesterday and today at around 3AM-4AM, my internet went out for less than 30 minutes each time. I’m in AZ and use Century Link.
Thanks for posting this!
currently in Mass. Verizon on the cell and the local computer network haven’t shown any significant issues. IT guys haven’t been running around with their hair on fire still interesting.
My Garmin failed to acquire satellites for 7 minutes yesterday. The back up Magellan unit, same thing.
The system is starting to fray.
Guy I know who is a tug broker said that last year was a bad year, but by this date he’d sold 16 tugs. This year to date, 7 tugs. Car sales are off. Housing is frothing. Retail is imploding.
There are signs everywhere. Another guy I know who works cybersecurity for MSFT is barely sleeping.
Trump was unexpected. The uniparty, globablly, is beginning to react.
