The media, and Democrats, lost in November for any number of reasons, including their own incompetence and misunderstanding of the American people—not Comey’s actions or a Russian influence operation
The New York Times recently published a lengthy postmortem on the effects that the FBI investigation into Hillary Clinton’s emails and the bureau’s investigation into Donald Trump’s alleged ties to Russia had on the 2016 election. The paper casts blame because FBI Director James Comey went public with the Clinton investigation, but didn’t expose the Trump inquiry during the election.
“For all the attention on Mrs. Clinton’s emails, history is likely to see Russian influence as the more significant story of the 2016 election,” concludes the Times. “Questions about Russian meddling and possible collusion have marred Mr. Trump’s first 100 days in the White House…Despite Mr. Trump’s assertions that ‘Russia is fake news,’ the White House has been unable to escape its shadow.”
Thanks in large part to the corrupt role of the New York Times itself.
I think the New York Slimes days are numbered. I hope when they go bankrupt they go to Pres. Trump and ask him to bail them out.

The Demographic Model does not work.
If the Demographic Model worked, Democrats would win every election. After all, women are part of the coalition. So they start out with 51%.
But, as it turns out, most women do not vote on the basis of their sex alone. They evaluate candidates and vote for the one they like best, just like anybody else.
This pattern will continue to play itself out. As demographic groups become an ever larger portion of the population, they will lose discipline and start voting in a normal fashion. The harder the Democrats try to hold on, the more it will slip through their fingers.
Hillary is a shrew and a hateful person.
These traits can not be disguised and are not attractive to voters.
Don’t expect the NYT or any MSM to admit this.
Rather they will continue to make excuses.
I have never seen any concrete explanation for what the Russians supposedly did other than allegedly hand Wikileaks DNC emails, which is certainly an unproven proposition. But even if true it is fantasy to think that somehow threw the election.
If I remember correctly COMEY went public with evidence of criminal misconduct on Mrs Clinton’s part. He let her off the hook by finding she had no intention of doing anything wrong. In the case of President Trump, so far the only misconduct I have seen thus far is the Obama Administration collecting intelligence on American citizens. Guess he could have revealed that, but how do you say there was no intent there?

I loved it when President Trump used that phrase and I use it often.

“... they will continue to make excuses.” They’ll keep doing that in the hope that the populace will eventually accept that Hillary is not an Edsel.
I know its fantastic. Just look at your graph. If one was in any other business and looked at declining numbers like that over 8 years, they would have to do a serious and honest analysis. I don't see that happening soon.
If the NYT were to be honest about the Clinton loss they would have to admit that they champion the pathway to Venezuela.

This reminds me that Hillary didn’t do nearly as well with women voters as they expected.
White women overall voted for Trump.
White women without a college education voted strongly for Trump.
Married women overall voted for Trump.
So big groups of women supported Trump.
Women are not going to vote for a female candidate such as Hillary, just because of that.
The liberals are very condescending in my opinion, in that, they expect to earn the votes of women over issues such as birth control and abortion.
And even on those issues, they push lies about them, such as that somehow Republicans want to outlaw birth control.
Remember when George S. in the 2012 GOP debates, asked that half assed question about whether states could ban contraception??? That arguably was the start of the “war on women” meme pushed by the liberals.
Bottom line — they want to scare women about birth control and “reproductive” issues, and they are condescending insofar as they expect women to vote based on that one issue alone.
During Bill Clinton’s secret meeting with AG Loretta Lynch on the Phoenix/Sky Harbor tarmac, did he demand that:
1) Lynch quash the investigation and charges against Hillary for mishandling classified material via her illegal server; or,
2) Lynch pursue FISA warrants to spy on Trump associates, use the FBI to develop the Trump-Russians meme, and assure that plenty of leaks occurred.
Does anyone actually believe it was not both?
