The latest Democrat threat is that they will somehow stop all tax reform until President Trump releases his tax returns. This follows constant media carping during the election demanding that very same thing, only to have the demand rejected by Trump and, by extension, by the electorate.
But wait, you say! Polls consistently show the public wants Trump to release his returns. Sure they do, and it’s a classic example of what’s called push polling. When a pollster asks a person if he thinks something would be a good idea, that doesn’t necessarily mean the person was giving the matter any thought prior to being asked, or that it’s particularly important to that person. If you asked 100 people, “Should snails be treated with dignity?” you could probably get at least 75 say yes, even though they had never before given the matter any thought and may never do so again.
Don’t worry, Trump has never had any intention of releasing his tax returns, ever. And I don’t see that changing. I just wish that when he’s asked about it he’d drop all the BS about audits and say, “None of your damned business”.
I don’t give a rats about his tax forms...I only care about tax reform.
BFG! If there was anything there, Lerner would have leaked it in 2015 and there would have been loud outcries by 2016. Move on, we have a country to make great again. Next polling question; “Should Hillary be brought up on charges ranging from (a)negligence, (b)conspiracy, (c)corruption, (d)perjury (e) all of the above?” Now ask those in the heart land and call it a poll.
The only problem I see with this is it gives the next Democrat President precedent to hide obviously illegal payments from Saudi Arabia and communist countries.
Basically that’s not on your tax returns. His incom was from the Trump organizations. Are they asking for his corporate returns or his personal returns?
Release the number of bribes you have taken and I will release my taxes.

I can’t even begin to imagine the chicanery and obfuscation that Hillary and the Clinton Foundation employed to sanitize “her” tax returns.

The tradition of releasing tax returns goes Waaaaay back to Gerald Ford, who did it voluntarily. Frankly, I would release mine either.

I believe they should be eligible. That would require paperwork and adjudication. All bases would then be covered. Background, citizenship, financial etc...
No one mentions the fact that Trump was required to submit a financial disclosure form. They ignore that and probably have not even looked at it.
This is a classic misdirection by the liberals/fascists. The spending in the problem. Audit every agency and position.
Gotta vent. I an 79 years old, and I have lived through FDR, Truman, Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, Clinton, TWO Bushes, and Obama. Never, never in my lifetime have I seen a President be scrutinized over every word he speaks, humiliated in a very public way, slandered, ridiculed, insulted, lied to, threatened with depictions of decapitation, threatened with rape of our very beautiful First Lady, and have his children also insulted and humiliated. I am ashamed of a number of factions in this country. I am ashamed of the ruthless, hateful, cruel people who are totally devoid of morals or any sense of decency. They feel they have a right to say and do the things they are doing, with impunity or even total immunity from consequences.
I don’t know how to fix this, I wish I did. Every other President, once they got in office, were pretty much given some free rein to govern as they thought to be prudent and well, left alone until they had either proved themselves or clearly failed. They weren’t on the news 24/7 being dissected by every word out of their mouths, ALWAYS being pressured to do this or do that, and now, we have the pleasure of discussing his tax returns for how long - I am SOOO not excited.
Leave him alone, let him do his job!

#15, that’s pretty much what I would have said, he got me by one year. If they ran Harry Truman today, I would have voted for him. (Hopefully he would have removed most of FDR’s Commie appointments.)
One would think that without the 24/7 negative coverage and hate filled reports and lies Trump’s favorability would be over 75%
