Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA): Expect a Supreme Court resignation 'this summer'
Canada Free Press ^ | 02/20/17 | Robert Laurie

Here we go again...

From day one of the Trump candidacy, I’ve said “If he denies the Democrats a Supreme Court appointment, his presidency is worth it.” No matter what else happens, the SCOTUS was and is the key to salvaging the country. Had Hillary been allowed to alter it, it would have been disastrous. Fortunately, President Trump won and Neil Gorsuch is now on the bench.

Now, people are starting to wonder just how many bites at the Supreme Court apple Trump is going to get. He’s already had one. If Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley is right, a second is virtually guaranteed, and we can start speculating about three or four.

This nomination could be key. Who would be the choice?

I tend to agree with you, however, Buzzi Ginsburg has said she would not step down under a Republican President. Wants to be replaced by a Dem only. So perhaps it is Kennedy?

It definitely won’t be a liberal; they like to be carried out feet first in a body bag.

I totally agree! If nothing else SCOTUS was key! I saw some rumors the other day, Ginsburg may retire but “only if Trump puts Obama’s Garland in her place!” I say no way — better not! Trump promised us he’d work from the list his Heritage team resourced and that’s one thing that he absolutely cannot waiver on whatsoever!

“Hoping ruth buzzy ginzoburg opts for the rocking chair. “

I think history has shown that people with power will hang onto it if they can. Liberals, especially, will hang onto an office even when they literally can’t stay awake through a meeting. But, regardless of party, people like Strom Thurmond, Claude Pepper and others held onto office into their dotage. They had become a hindrance and impediment to the very ideals they said they supported.

The reason they can’t quit is they have come to identify as the office, not the man. If they could conceive or leaving office, it would feel like suicide. Louis the 14th is supposed to have said, “L’État, c’est moi” (”I am the state”). That’s the way they see themselves.

Traitor John Obamacare Roberts would be a good choice for what he FORCED on the citizens of the republic, how he justified it and the damage it is still causing.

I don’t understand why Appellate Court Justice Janice Rogers Brown is not on Trump’s short list. Perhaps her age (67)?

The other totalitarian, anti-constitutional, illogical, deceptive robed mullahs who agreed with Robert’s twisted decision should be removed (long ago).
